El personal, ubicación
La música del restaurante de al lado No nos dejaba descansar ni dormir!!!!La ponen desde las 11:30 am hasta las 22hpm. Tienen que hacer algo respecto a eso porque uno quiere estar tranquilo en la habitación y se escucha música tecno todo el tiempo q ni puedes hablar con la persona con la que compartes. No volvería para nada, y no lo recomendaría, hay hostales mejores en esa zona que puedas descansar. el servicio y el personal fueron muy buenos.

Tuvimos una novedad con la reserva y contamos con la buena suerte que tenían disponibilidad de la habitación que requeriamos con vista al mar, entonces esto hizo mejor la estancia, el personal es muy amable y muy atento a todas las necesidades que se presentan y la atención es oportuna y muy buena, adicional el hostal cuenta con el ambiente ideal para estar cerca al mar sin necesidad de desplazarse mucho
Sería de mucha útilidad un mosquitero y que el baño fuese limpiado durante la estancia

El servicio estuvo muy bueno, las personas son muy cool y amables, la vista de la habitación es espectacular, la hamaca es súper relajante. Las fotos ni siquiera le hacen justicia a la paz que se siente en esta playa.
El baño no tenía drenaje y eso afecta mucho la sanidad, aparte de eso sería útil un mosquitero.
Excelente hostal: limpio, cómodo y con atención muy amable. La ubicación es ideal frente al mar y el ambiente acogedor. ¡Recomendado totalmente!

No tens mosquitera
Sitio ideal para mochileros y backpackers con bajo presupuesto. La relación calidad-precio es la mejor: poder disfrutar de una habitación doble en primera línea de mar, a pie de arena y con vistas a la playa, es un lujo permisible gracias a los precios competitivos de Halaliku. Y todo esto, además, con desayuno incluido (¡que algún día Carlos, el regente del hostal, incluso nos trajo a la cama!).
El desayuno, muy rico también: huevos perico algún día, otro día carimañola de queso (¡buenísima, por cierto!). Pero lo mejor de nuestra estancia fue conocer a Carlos, el regente del hostal. Le agradecemos mucho su energía, su buena predisposición siempre, su amabilidad, sus cuidados, y sus consejos y recomendaciones. Se nota que es lugareño de la zona: se sabe todos los "truquitos" de Mendihuaca y conoce a todo el mundo.
Sin duda, hasta el momento, nuestra estancia ahí ha sido lo mejor del viaje, por su tranquilidad, paz y belleza. Perfecta ubicación de ensueño.
Si lo que buscas es una experiencia local, conectar con la gente del sitio y vivir la esencia de Mendihuaca al estilo costeño, en consonancia con el entorno, este es tu lugar. Con Carlos, que es de los que lleva ahí desde siempre.
Si, por otro lado, lo que buscas son grandes lujos y confort, y estar en una burbuja en hoteles de grandes inversores que no respetan la zona ni a los locales, entonces este no es tu lugar…
Hay detalles de presentación y de mantenimiento que si se cuidaran más el hostal ganaría exponencialmente!
The view was nice at is was beachfront.
I honestly don’t even know where to start.
We arrive at the Hostal when the lady barely welcomes us and sends us to another place because there is a problem with the shower.
The hostess in the other hotel was a little more welcoming but puts us in a room with no windows, no key, in the entrance… they cleaned it out as we arrived so we presume it was some sort of storage space for them.
Anyway night goes by, we arrive for breakfast at Halaliku to be served two eggs and a slice of cheese and the end of a brioche of some kind. The lady keeping the Hostal is really unfriendly.
We are given our room with beautiful sea view but get the wonderful surprise of having works in the building right next to our room wall. Banging the hammer all day starting 8am. We are fully aware that this is none of her doing but a little warning would have been nice.
There are not closed walls so people communicate from one room to the other, very little privacy.
We were woken by the smell of some toxins (very unhealthy to be sleeping in the smell of wood varnish) and heavy banging on the walls.
Never saw a smile on her face, not a hello or goodbye or thank you. A little gesture from her part would have been nice but we just felt like we were in the way, having to ask for breakfast (which is included in the price) a couple of times before she got to it. Let’s not forget we didn’t have a working shower, it’s extremely humid and noisy. If you’re looking to fully enjoy this place, there are much lovelier hotels in the surroundings. This is just NOT it.
