The room is clean, the bathroom is updated, comfortable bed. Location is great for there are many good restaurants and not far from main department store. Mostly, the service is top notch! So friendly and caring!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Very good breakfast. The front desk was so helpful in assisting us with suggestions and making reservations for us. We really appreciated Sally and her assistance.

The hotel itself is clean, quiet, and very well located near Zhongshan Station, perfect for solo travelers.

What truly makes this place special is the people I met here. I cannot thank the team at Tokyo International Hotel enough for their kindness and support. During my stay, I accidentally lost my passport, and the entire team went above and beyond to help me search for it. They were incredibly helpful , proactive, and genuinely caring throughout the whole process, which meant so much to me.

Stay at Tokyo International Hotel turned into one of my most memorable moments in Taipei. Their warmth and professionalism made me feel safe, supported, and truly at home. They are honestly one of the best memories I have from this trip.

I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei.

這次入住東京國際飯店真的讓我留下非常深刻、溫暖的回憶。入住期間我不小心遺失了護照，當下非常慌張，沒想到飯店整個團隊都主動協助我一起尋找，過程中非常有耐心，也給了我很大的安心感。原本以為會是一次很糟糕的經驗，卻因為他們的幫忙，成為我這趟台北之旅中最難忘、最珍貴的回憶之一。

飯店人員不只是專業，更是真心關心住客，讓我在異地也能感受到像回到家一樣的溫暖。房間乾淨整潔，環境安靜安全，地點就在中山站附近，交通方便，非常適合獨自旅行或第一次來台北的旅客。

真心推薦這間飯店，下次再來台北一定還會選擇入住。

Hello, we stayed at Tokyo International Hotel with our 17-month-old baby.

Even though we arrived slightly earlier than the official check-in time, the staff welcomed us warmly and kindly allowed us to check in early with a small additional fee.

Our baby was not feeling well, so during the first and second days, he cried almost constantly. We were very worried about disturbing other guests. In the middle of that, our room bell rang, and we assumed it might be a complaint. However, when we opened the door, a hotel staff member gently explained that they were concerned because they had heard our baby crying so much. They gathered toys from the hotel and personally brought ones that were suitable for our baby’s age.

We were truly grateful. Thanks to their kindness, our baby was able to calm down a little and enjoy playing with the toys.

Unfortunately, a serious incident occurred the following morning. I was in the bathroom, and my husband stepped out briefly to do the laundry. During that very short moment, our baby choked on bread and a banana and began having convulsions, which we discovered too late.

Our baby had already lost consciousness, and cyanosis was progressing. At that moment, I truly thought we were going to lose our child. My husband immediately performed the Heimlich maneuver and rescue breathing, but our baby was still unable to breathe. I called the front desk in tears, desperately asking them to call an ambulance.

Within seconds, the hotel manager, Erick, came straight up to our room and calmly guided us on what to do while speaking with the hospital. Thankfully, at that moment, our baby began showing signs of breathing again. We were incredibly fortunate that a large, well-known hospital, Mackay Memorial Hospital, is located right behind the hotel. It took only about two minutes by ambulance to get there.

After emergency treatment and several tests, unbelievably, about one hour later our baby regained consciousness and called out for me. The relief and gratitude we felt at that moment are something we will never forget. It even made us wonder whether such a fast and effective response would have been possible if this had happened in Korea.

After that, our baby gradually recovered, and by the day of check-out, he had fully returned to normal condition, smiling and greeting the hotel staff as we left. We wanted to write this review to once again express our sincere gratitude.

As for the hotel itself, Taiwan is generally humid due to frequent rain, so guests from Korea may feel the room is slightly humid. However, the room was very clean and well maintained.

Breakfast was well suited to Korean tastes, with items such as miso soup, grilled mackerel, fried eggs, and other mild, well-seasoned dishes. It was easy and safe to feed our baby, and he ate very well. They even prepared porridge especially for our child. Every staff member took such thoughtful care of our family that it honestly felt like being at home.

The hotel’s location is excellent, making it easy to get anywhere, and having a large hospital right behind the hotel is incredibly reassuring in emergency situations. You never know when something might happen.

On one occasion, after midnight, while bathing our baby, he had an accident on the bed just before getting dressed. Even at such a late hour, the staff replaced all the sheets within about 10 minutes. We were deeply impressed by their quick and professional response.

Considering everything, the cost was absolutely worth it. The location and service were outstanding, and if we visit again, we would definitely stay at this hotel without hesitation.

We sincerely thank all the hotel staff for their kindness, professionalism, and quick responses in every situation. We will always remember the lucky dollar given to our baby on our last day and, most of all, Manager Erick, who helped save our child’s life.

The hotel manager and staff were extremely helpful. Erick, Tiffany, Alfred and Rudy were very nice and pleasant. They went over and above on their hospitality. For example, they called a taxi for us and hailed the taxi driver when the driver arrived. Also, the rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent and the person in charge of the buffet was nice. I can understand why they have so many repeat guest coming to Tokyo International hotel. It is walkable to Ningxia night market. When we come back we will definitely book this hotel again.

My husband and I stayed here for about a week and had a very pleasant experience. Manager Erick and his staff showed us amazing hospitality, friendliness, and professionalism. They provided assistance for our daily travel and needs. Would highly recommend! Thank you for a memorable stay.

Excellent experience with Tokyo International Hotel, as a matter of fact, 2nd time here.

The room is small but enough, and mostly importantly, clean. Excellent breakfast every morning. Various team members, such as Alfred, as an example, take the time to try to get to know me. Some team members actually remember me from last stay 2 years ago!

Do note that it is a little bit of a walk to an MRT station, about 10 minutes.

First time in Taiwan. The hotel staffs were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional especially Sally. Room was clean and comfortable. We really appreciated being able to do our laundry before our tour-made the days so much easier. I truly appreciate the positive experience.

Staff is very accommodating. They speak English, Mandarin, and Japanese all fluently. The rooms are very clean, and I feel very welcomed and comfortable during my stay here. The baths are quick to fill. This is also a very convenient location to and have shopping and eating a easily within a short walk. Many thanks to Erick Hsu for making this such a warm walk of being environment. Five stars.

We stayed for nine nights. Front desk is outstanding and tremendously helpful. The property is in the old part of town, and it's not easy to maintain in great shape. However, it was good overall. We had some issues with internet connectivity which were promptly and successfully dealt with. Location is fantastic for activities along the Red Line which is where most activities we wanted to see and do take place. We had zero issues with street noise or contiguous room noise. TV is horrible in quality of signal and type of programing but nobody should go to Taipei to watch TV at a hotel room anyways. In our next visit, we are definitely going back to this slice of Japan in the middle of Taipei!!!

Although the rooms are quite small and breakfast is modest, the hotel is centrally located and quite close to the station. There is a familyMart opposite. They have Super friendly staff who are always available to help and great for a short stay.

Friendly, family owned, cozy economy hotel. Offers Japanese style breakfast, very tasty and lots of choices. Room is clean and spacious, electric kettle, hair dryer, shampoos and body soap are installed. From environmental conservation reasons, amenities like toothbrush, razor, hair brush etc are not included. Bring your own or you can buy it at front desk with small fee. Free coffee is also offered at lounge next to front desk.
10min walk from MRT CHUNGSHAN station, bus stops are near by, very convenient location. Manager and staffs are friendly and helpful.

Lots of dinning options around the hotel. However, the free wifi didn't work most of the time.

I like that property is spacial and have other convenient place, didn't like that the property control how many people can come up to the room.
