Great location. Ruthin Castle is a hidden gem, tucked into a corner of the historic town of Ruthin. Access through an old brick archway with sweeping drive leading to car park and impressive reception area where a warm welcome awaits.
Surrounded by parkland with wonderful views of the Clwydian Range.
Ruthin Castle embodies History, Elegance, Atmospheric Decor and Comfort.
Room was spacious and comfortable with great view.
Dining area and evening meal very good as was Breakfast .
Staff very welcoming.

Quirky and really different, staff were great, lovely grounds to walk around

Cons:

Evening meal was a disappointment, lots of items are the menu not available as none left. Also pointless paying for half board, as you can only have £30 each for meal and lots of it not available.

Had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend staying here. Staff were friendly and the food fantastic
Pros:

We loved the castle—the bedroom was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and the staff were friendly. The food was absolutely fantastic.

Cons:

Hair dryer was faulty but luckily as not needed didn’t need to use.
