Nicht zu empfehlen.
Cons:

Wir hatten das Hotel gebucht, um einen Tag im Resort etwas Luxus zu genießen, wurden aber enttäuscht. Das Abendessen, als Barbecue beworben, bestand nur aus Reis, Pommes, etwas Soße und sehr wenig Fleisch. Auch beim Frühstück ließ die Qualität zu wünschen übrig. Ständig wurde man vom Personal beobachtet und kaum in Ruhe gelassen. Getränke wurden in Dollar abgerechnet, obwohl sie als tansanisch ausgezeichnet waren.

Das Hotel wirkt eher wie ein Kinderparadies vom Feeling her. Zudem gab es deutliche Mängel bei der Sauberkeit. In unserem Zimmer fielen die Gardinen ab, und eines der beiden Betten war defekt. Insgesamt können wir das Hotel nicht empfehlen.

It was a burger, the chef could do better, no cheese , it was so plain so I opted to eat outside of the hotel for the rest of my stay

Pros:

The beach is beautiful & quiet. The pool and bar area are nice. The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming and tries their best. The hotel area is cute. Ok for a short stay if you eat somewhere else. Paje is a 20 min beach walk away.

Cons:

The bed is extremely hard, it feels like sleeping on the floor. The AC was impossible to turn off, the bathroom is really small and not properly clean. The food was terrible, the staff really tried their best since there wasn‘t even a cook there. It was a la carte, not buffet as advertised. No spice, the meat was not fresh and even the local dishes tasted like very bad microwaved food.

Amazing stay
Pros:

The breakfast was amazing and the staff were so lovely and very very helpful and responsive. It was truly an amazing stay and the place is beautiful. I would definitely come back again and recommend the place to friends and family. We had so much fun at Tiki

DO NOT BOOK - UTTER DISSAPOINTMENT IN EVERY WAY

Nothing. Not one thing! First property booked on booking.com that we’ve left or raised a complaint about

The hotel was dirty, litter everywhere, not enough Sunloungers, no sun shades by the pool and bar stools in the pool upside down. No Tiki Bar open in the pool

Pool was cleaned daily at 11am and chlorine and chemicals added which made the pool in-useable for at least an hour.

Staff were miserable and unhelpful and quite simply did not want to be there

Food at the hotel was bland and tasteless. Music played at the bar till at least midnight at high volume with no customers, not allowing us to sleep

There was a leak in our room so during a rain shower we had water spilling into the room, causing a puddle. Luckily no items damaged

Mosquito nets provided were unusable with holes everywhere. Aircon worked but the windows didn’t close fully meaning didn’t work to full potential and this also added to the noise from the hotel bar!

No wardrobe, just one basic hanging rail with 2 hangers. A joke!

Wish we’d have read more reviews! We had booked for 6 nights, we stayed for 2 then left as it threatened to ruin our holiday.

Manger useless and wouldn’t listen to our complaints or see us in person, reception staff past us to him on their mobile phone. He wouldn’t come and see us. No refund given for nights lost hence complaint raised via booking.com

Nous poursuivons nos recherches, mais aucune option ne nous paraît suffisamment convaincante pour envisager un séjour ici.

Cons:

Alors…

• Si tu as un creux, anticipe : il pourrait se transformer en gouffre (1h d’attente minimum systématique au restaurant).
• Restaurant sale, ce qui aide à couper l’appétit
• Conseil n°1 : mange bien au dîner, car passé 8h30 au petit-déjeuner… il ne reste plus que des souvenirs.
• Une bonne nuit de sommeil après de longues heures de vol ? Concept intéressant, mais non proposé ici.
• Conseil n°2 (qu’on a dû deviner) : si vous souhaitez que votre chambre soit faite, pensez à laisser les clés à la réception !

Nous nous abstenons de joindre des photos et d’autres commentaires par respect pour le personnel et les locaux, inutile d’en dire davantage.

Dommage, car l’établissement a un réel potentiel.

Inutile de répondre à cet avis : la moindre des choses aurait été de nous demander comment s’est passé notre séjour au moment du départ. Mais sans doute étiez-vous déjà très occupés par l’organisation du nouvel an 2027…

Tropical island adventure of a lifetime
Pros:

The resort manager, Batuhan and the staff are super friendly. They are considerate and assisted with excursions. The chefs went out of their way to prepare meals the way I liked it. The resort offered everything my friend and I needed. It's the perfect destination if you simply want to get away from a busy life, relax and enjoy a tropical island. The beach was approximately less than 100 meters from my room which is very convenient. The most important things is that I felt safe. The resort has a look out deck where I went to watch the sunrise by myself. The highlight of my stay was a swim in the pool in the pouring rain. I would definitely recommend this resort to family and friends.

Cons:

The distance from Stone Town and getting there was a bit inconvenient for me personally. Perhaps I should have spent the first 2 nights in Stone Town and then take the ferry to Dar es Salaam which I was not able to do due to weather conditions. The other island excursions are also from Stone Town and I think I missed out on the buzz which the town offers due to my short excursion.

Eine Nacht und keine mehr!
Pros:

Leider waren wir nicht zu Frieden und sind nach nur 1er Nacht wieder abgereist. Das als 4 Stern verkauft Hotel war nur ein 3 Stern Hotel und somit der Preis viel zu hoch. Das Hotel hatte keine Abgrenzung zu dem öffentlichen Strand und jeder hatte Zugang. Uns Zimmer lag direkt am Strand, und wir fühlten uns sehr unsicher da die Türen nicht richtig versperrten und kein Wachposten im Hotel war.

Cons:

Wir hatten eine Ameisenstraße durch das Zimmer, der Pool war an den Wänden grün genau so wie der verkaufte „privatpool“ der längst eine Reinigung gebraucht hätte. Die Bar war sehr schmuddelig und das Personal hatte wenig Interesse. Auch der Chef war am Telefon sehr unfreundlich als wir früher abreisten, er war der Meinung sein Angestellter hatte das Telefon schon nur war das nicht der Fall sondern ich war noch dran und hörte ihn somit schimpfen was den unser Problem wäre und wir sollen uns nicht so anstellen wir können ja ein anderes Zimmer haben aber würden trotzdem kein Geld zurück bekommen auch wenn das billiger wäre.

Direkt vor unserem Zimmer kamen zwei Rohre aus dem Sand wo uns keiner sagen kann was da rauskommt oder für was die waren, allgemeine war der Strand Abschnitt sehr sehr ungepflegt!
