While most hotels typically carry out housekeeping in the morning—when guests are out for the day—this was not my experience here. I had checked out early in the morning and clearly indicated that I wanted my room to be cleaned by placing the “please make up my room” sign on the door, as well as mentioning it to staff before I left.

However, when I returned at around 2:30 PM after a full day of sightseeing, my room had still not been tidied. It was disappointing to come back to an untidy space, especially when I had expected a clean and refreshed room to relax in. I noticed housekeeping carts still on the floor, which made it even more confusing as to why my room had not yet been attended to.

When I raised this with reception, I was informed that cleaning for my floor typically begins in the afternoon around that time. This was quite surprising and, frankly, inconvenient—guests shouldn’t have to wait until mid-afternoon for basic housekeeping, especially when a request has already been made.

I also mentioned that the towels provided upon check-in were not up to standard, which was another reason I had requested an early clean. I was then told that priority is given to rooms that are due for check-out or new arrivals. While I understand operational demands, it felt as though current in-house guests were being deprioritised, which is not ideal.

To their credit, they did offer to send someone up after I raised the issue, but by that point, the experience had already been affected. As I was only staying for one night, I had hoped to fully enjoy a clean and comfortable room during my stay, which unfortunately didn’t happen.

Overall, this was a significant letdown and left a disappointing impression.

Staff had minimal information about everything and did not offer any type of service let alone an exceptional service.

Rooms are a bit small in case u like spacious hotels.. but still a good deal at the price point!!
