Categories

Cleanliness
9.5
Rooms repeatedly described as 'clean' and 'very clean'; isolated issues reported (soiled spots in hallway carpet, one guest noted cleaning could improve).
Service
10
Staff repeatedly praised as friendly, welcoming and helpful; a few isolated reports of rude or nonchalant staff during overnight/restaurant interactions.
Location
9.5
Mostly convenient — close to the beach and historic downtown for many guests; a minority described the immediate area as 'sketchy' or reported feeling watched from outside.
Room Quality
8.8
Generally comfortable rooms and good size with modern decor; some negatives include a worn bed (one guest reported backache), sliding barn-door privacy issues, occasional weak shower pressure and noisy A/C, and lack of in-room microwave in many rooms.
Amenities
8.8
Pool and modern facilities received positive mentions, but several amenity issues: bar closed due to license suspension, broken ice machine, no microwave access in rooms, and no complimentary coffee.
Value for Money
8.6
Many guests would return (good perceived value), but some felt price did not match experience ('luxury price without the luxury experience') and cited unexpected extra costs or reduced services (closed bar, paid coffee).
Food and Beverage
7.6
Weak area — multiple complaints about restaurant food quality, disappointed breakfast, bar closed/no alcohol license, and coffee being overpriced.
Overall Experience
10
Overall very positive sentiment: numerous guests said they'd stay again, described stays as 'wonderful' or 'great,' despite the specific issues noted above.
