The views, the eco-friendly nature, the staff, the amenities around!
We couldn’t stay longer :/ (for our traveling reasons)
Everything the staff the view the location
Parking was a little hard to find
Staff was very helpful warm and welcoming. Answered my questions and helped me check in like a 5 star hotel!!
I thought the seals might keep me awake but I slept like a baby! The beds were so comfortable! I have nothing negative to say.
I dealt with the owner who was remarkable and accommodating. She gave me roses and rose petals for the occasion. I have already recommended this hotel to several friends.
Nothing
Amazing themed room, great location, awesome staff.
New, clean
Unbelievably comfortable bed. Spectacular lamp.
I want to especially point out employee Sarah. She was amazing and very helpful when she was there.
Not enough privacy. Balcony overlooked public area full of families 24/7.
SAFETY was major concern. I had to leave my room at 3am to get something that was down the hall in the supply area. The hall to get there was open to the public from the street and from the pier side of the hotel. Imagine my horror when three young men saw me (in my robe), commented and proceeded to try to come after me. I was lucky to get into the locked supply area quickly enough to have the door lock behind me. But I stayed in there for a while until I was sure they were gone. There needs to be secure doors across the steps leading to the rooms from both sides of the building. There was no staff present from 8 pm until 8 am.
Little things were needed. For example, the Kleenex box had only two tissue in it. Hint to staff: colored tissues at end of box means it’s running out and should be replaced. The curtains looked like they were bought at Walmart and hung on rods with sheers like my grandma did (and I’m in my 80s so that was really old school). Coffee cream was nice touch in fridge but unpourable out of the container provided and a spilling mess. No napkins in provided basket. Luckily I had paper towels in my car. Coffee pot had used pod and partially empty water container. Towels were very scratchy and poor quality, Again, I had to repeatedly leave my room to get things down the hall or in my car two blocks away.. We definitely had to be our own hotel staff.
Patio too small for the large furniture. View sucked.
Bathroom light/fan controls need attention/maintenance. Shower handles needed attention/attention.
The water side of the hotel needed chairs or something. An unattractive empty restaurant space was an eyesore.
Room needed some other seating besides desk chair and extremely impractical and uncomfortable side chair. Two luggage stands would have been nice. (Why do hotels only give one when there is usually at least two people?
I can't say enough about this place. The staff was very friendly and seemed to genuinely care about us. The room was very cozy and well decorated. We were in the Octopus room (8). We had a balcony that wrapped around so we could see the street and some of the harbor. They also had a table top fireplace which was nice to light up during the evening while we watched the people on the street. I wanted to bring the bed home with me. Great mattress, soft sheets, and just right pillows. Even though we were facing the street, it was quiet enough to sleep. You could tell that someone took lots of time and thought into the room. We had fresh cream in our frig for coffee and a carafe of water with glass, not plastic, drinking cups. I truly appreciate the details and the feel of the room. I would have to say this is the best place we have stayed at in Morro Bay!
Limited parking. But that is to be expected in a busy area.
Gezelligheid van de kamer. Uitstekende bedden en hoewel Morro Bay klein is waren er genoeg dingen te doen (vooral watersport). Ook voldoende restaurants aanwezig waaruit je kunt kiezen.
We arrived very late ate and staff took our call and helped us w the check-in. Very nice place. Large bathroom. Good shower pressure. Decent tv (not tiny). Bed good, not amazing. Great location to walk around neighborhood. Could hear sea lions from the room.
