room very comfortable as usual, disappointing experience with staff

bathroom in the common area dirty throughout the day, quite unpleasant
I asked for 1 hour later checkout which was denied. now i understand that the hotel was fully booked and they couldnt accomodate late checkouts, in many instances in my life was i denied late checkout for that reason and that was no problem at all when it was just for my comfort. in this case there was a medical reason and i was in quite a bad place health wise. unfortunately i overshared my medical situation. my conclusion was later on that no one cared and they probably did not even believe me which made me regret what i had shared. i have for many years visited this hotel a few times per year, staff has always been wonderful and genuine, checking in and checking out situation was genuinely pleasant. This is the first time i did not get this feeling - even before the disappointing situation i felt like there was no interest in me as a customer. and i understand i had no right to have them accomodating my needs when i was not well, but i do believe kindness and genuine interest would have been not too much to ask.

Pros:

Locations is excellent, very close to public transportation, room is little but had all of the required things. Staff is very nice.

Cons:

Complementary water bottle should be a must. If you arrive late there will be nothing to drink.
