The Holiday we stayed at was close to the Nashville Airport which was perfect for our flight back home. The amenities on property were very nice with the pool being refreshingly warm and the gym providing the right amount of equipment to work out.
While the room we stayed in was quite nice, the beds were not the best. The mattress was too hard for my back and the pillows were too soft which didn't provide the stability I needed to sleep. The breakfast was a buffet which I tend not to like but this one was fine, it's just that the staff can be a bit rude.
I loved the location & layout of the room. The front desk person ( young guy ) was great
I didn't like the stain that was on my flat sheet we found while checking the bed & spraying it down with Lysol. I didn't like all the long strings of hair that was found in the bathroom shower/sink/floor/on the towels. I didn't like the fact that the room service lady still knocked on my door before we checked out. I didn't like the smell in the pool area either ( made me not want to get in the pool ). That stay will make the last time I stay at a holiday inn for a while. THE ROOM WAS GREAT THE CLEANLINESS WAS POOR because of that it was hard to say we was comfortable. For 220$ a night nobody wants to be dealing with other people hair strings.
The location was perfect for what I needed . However I booked through a 3rd party site and did not know that it made me forfeit rewards for my stay. The associate that checked me in would not look in the system for my name. She told me if I could find my own rewards number to let her know 🙄. So much for customer service.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast. Good fitness facilities.
No response to a request made in advance for a child’s bed to be included, so we found out we’d have to make do on arrival. No drinks at the bar save for beer, despite menus suggesting otherwise. Not clear that you had to phone in advance for the shuttle from the airport — wording on the website needs to be clearer. Exercise bike broken in the gym.

The walls are paper thin and I could hear the people above me all night
