We had a mostly enjoyable stay at Fortune Resort Kalimpong, which is beautifully located with stunning mountain views and a serene, well-maintained property. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the overall ambiance is perfect for a relaxing family getaway in the hills.
There were some notable issues that affected our experience:
• We arrived late at night around 10:30 PM after informing the hotel multiple times in advance, but there was no staff available to help with our luggage.
• Since we had pre-paid for the dinner buffet (which closes at 10:30), we requested them to set aside some items and deliver to the room. Despite confirming the order twice, several items were missing and others were replaced without notice.
• The next day, while having a Caesar salad, we found a stapler pin inside it. This was extremely concerning, especially as we were travelling with family including an infant and had also ordered baby food. The staff’s response was very casual (“sorry, won’t happen again”) with no proper explanation, investigation, or any form of compensation. We were still charged for the salad.

Water in sink is not going through properly, toilet needs renovation, no conditioner cheap qyality tooth brush, no bathrobe.
Courteous and involved staff. Good restaurant with wide variety and excellent breakfast. Room comfortable and large. Gorgeous Kanchenjunga view.

Hospitality of the staff starting from front desk speciality Tania & her team was awesome. In Restaurant team Sowmadip, and his colleges hospitality is more than home.
If possible to keep some indore games I'm future. In case of rains people can play some TT to spend time & physical fitness.
