Fab hotel in a great local area
Pros:

The rooms are stylish ,beds comfy ,bathroom compact but comfortable… our suite had a small bar fridge ,kettle and glasses and a really fabulous view with comfy seats to sit on to admire it.
The shower was equipped with nice toiletries
Didn’t use the Onsen but it looked amazing
The staff are friendly and professional.
The ice cream at the little cafe in the lobby is very nice ,pistachio is the perfect choice
The cafe coffee is automatic machine made but still pretty good
The location is a little way out from tourist central but this is part of its charm ..plenty of little restaurants nearby and even a little bottle shop on the corner … it’s close to a canal lined with cherry trees so I can imagine this would be beautiful when the trees are in bloom
There are plenty of small espresso coffee shops nearby also.

Cons:

Food - it’s a large hotel but not much in the way of food choices
There is a cafe with a very limited menu … ice cream,coffee,hotdogs or you can opt for the dinner $60 per head buffet or breakfast buffet …. perhaps the cafe could offer more of a menu for travellers ? It certainly has capacity to do so and not everyone wants to eat at a buffet (even if the food is fab)
The local guide tips are only offered in Japanese verbally … I get it we are in Japan after all ..but perhaps a little tip guide in English wouldn’t break the hotel budget considering the hotel touts itself as a local experience expert. The staff on reception didn’t know where the closest ATM was … um really ?

余裕のある方の安らぐ施設
Pros:

新しい施設なので綺麗で広々としたロビー。そしてダイニングスペースと豊かな朝食です。

Cons:

立地が良いとしても単価がかなりの値段ななに、宿泊スペースはビジネスホテル並みでシャワーしかないなど、星野リゾートとは思えなかったり

星野リゾートに対するこちらの期待が高過ぎた
Pros:

若いスタッフが多く、きびきびと働いていて気持ち良かった。お風呂がシンプルなんだけど落ち着く感じで気持ち良かった。

Cons:

お風呂のお湯の中にタオルをつけているお客さんがいて、ガッカリした。
いろいろなホテルの朝食を食べているが、値段の割にはお得感が感じられなかった。朝食バイキングで、スタッフの人がいも団子のような物を配って歩いていたが、断りきれない人もいると思う。

Pros:

全て満足してますが、1階カフェで、コーヒーとカツオドックをテイクアウトした際に食べやすいようにカットや包装してくださいました。味も美味しかったです。

Cons:

カフェをもっとくつろげる感じにした方が良いと思います。
