Of course the location was great, right by the ocean. The unit itself was mostly clean. Communication from the staff was great. Following the directions was easy enough in order to get into the unit. This seems like it would be a great place in the warmer months, so you can enjoy plenty of beach days.
The place is very much smaller than the pictures make it out to be. I suppose that is to be expected from a unit that close to the ocean and the reasonable price. It was wonderful to hear the ocean, which was the primary reason I booked this location. However, since it was January, I had to turn on the space heater, which was so loud it drowned out the ocean sounds. There are newer models of heaters that are quiet so I suggest providing one of those. Also, the instructions state to not move the heater (due to electrical load) but that meant I was freezing when trying to sleep. I understand it's Southern California but it does get cold there. The facilities are very old and it shows. It would have been great if the description explained about the levels of narrow steps so people are prepared when arriving. Also, it wasn't super clear that I had to move my car every four hours or risk being towed. There was a parking pass, but I still think I needed to move my car? That wasn't clear. I would not stay here again.

It was nice . Bed was comfortable.
U could hear the people upstairs stomping around.there wasn't enough places to plug in to. If you leave anything out ants attack it.

The LOCATION was absolutely wonderful! While our unit did not include a parking spot, we did have a parking pass for street parking and honestly, we felt this was the BEST parking available. Keep in mind our stay was during the week, so it wasn't too busy, as if it was during weekend! Our unit was perfect for the two of us. It has a partial ocean view, but best believe you can hear the waves crashing along the shore, from the unit/windows. We kept our window open just so we could hear it!
While we did have a shared wall, we didn't hear our neighbors at all. However, our last night we had neighbors above us and they were a bit loud. WE didn't bother complaining since it was our last night, but do note, there could be noise from your neighbors if you get one of two units available on the property.
To our surprise and maybe I missed this when booking, there was two beach chairs and umbrellas in the unit! We had plans on using them, but our morning adventures, lasted all day, so we made due on the beach as is! To my second surprise, I discovered coffee, creamer, and raw sugar available! Small. but mighty surprises!
The pier, restaurants, and shops is just a short 10- 15 minute walk from the location. Check-in and check-out, were super easy.
We truly felt safe and enjoyed our stay! We do plan to return.
There isn't anything I'd change, other than knowing which units we're renting next.

The bed was hard as a rock . The couch isn’t comfortable. It’s more like a great place to hang out to go to the beach there is also no beach towels
Great view, very close to the ocean and Strand. 15 minute walk to pier and downtown area. Clean property, small but comfortable. Instructions for check-in were detailed and easy to follow. Would stay here again.
I had the best time ever, it was Mothers Day, 2 of my kids and grandkids came out and spent the day with me on the beach!
I want to return soon, in August sometime.
