Room was decent other than the tub being a death trap.

Had a bar and pool area

Cons:

The place looked dirty walking in. Food on the floor and just all around like they hadn’t cleaned all day. My wife almost got hurt stepping into the tub. There is nothing on the bottom for grip, just like a slip n slide. Didn’t go to pool area much as they were just letting little kids go to the pool area unsupervised.

We appreciate the staff & the great room everything we stay at Embassy Irving!

Everything! This is the only place we’ll stay anytime we come to Texas 💛 it’s perfect!

Cons:

One thing we noticed was that during breakfast, family from off the streets were coming into the dining area with plates of food because their family was staying at the hotel & they obviously thought it was a free all you can eat buffet for everyone in Texas. We heard the gentleman say “yeah, we just woke up & headed this way from home to have breakfast with the fam” that was a tad odd to us.

Pros:

I really like the location and cleanliness of the property; it feels like a very peaceful place. Next time, I will try to book a room on the top floor since I'm sensitive to sound. I did hear some thumping from the floor above, but the staff did try to address it.
