Great location, comfy stay
Pros:

This hotel is located very close to the beautiful historic district, with its beautiful buildings, restaurants and shops. The service was great. The rooms were good sized, had a convenient mini fridge, comfortable bed, and all necessary toiletries. The breakfast area was good sized and provided an excellent selection of tasty breakfast items. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the temperature couldn't really be controlled from the room. There's a thermostat, but turning down the temperature (room was too warm), didn't lower it. It was hard to understand, but seems the hotel is on a central temperature system. Thankfully we were able to crack a window and make the room more comfortable. Despite this, I would stay here again.

Pros:

Comme il n'y a pas un choix incroyable d'hôtel 4* au centre de Padoue, nous avons choisi cet hotel pour l'emplacement. L'hotel est encore relativement neuf et les chambre sont encore relativement propres, mais je n'ose imaginer leur état dans 1 à 2 ans ( le papier peint se décolle déjà des murs et il y a des traces de moisissures au plafond).

Cons:

Par où commencer car rien n'est positif dans cet endroit. A notre arrivée nous avons eu un accueil plus que glacial de la part de la personne (femme) à la réception, nous n'avons reçu aucune information sur l'hotel, mise a part l'heure du déjeuner. Nous avions tellement peur de la froisser encore plus que nous n'avons même pas osé demander d'avoir des chambres l'une a côté de l'autre ( les chambres attribuées n'étaient pas au même étage). Pour parler des chambres: impossible de régler la clim, il a fallu dormir toutes les nuits la fenêtre ouverte et il y avait beaucoup de bruit dans la rue (travaux , cris, voitures, ...), il manquait une chaise dans une des chambres, les draps étaient sales et avaient des déchirures, le mini bar etait vide ( une bouteille d'eau seulement à disposition), insonorisation tellement mauvaise qu'on entendait tout ce qui se passait dans les autes chambres. Dans la salle de bain, un des lavabo était bouché, la douche était tellement dure qu'il était presque impossible de l'ouvrir, il y avait des odeurs d'égouts, les linges sentaient la friture, pas de verre et aucune kit pour salle de bain. Concernant les services : aucune information dans la chambre, seul un code qr sur la tv en guise d'accueil et les informations sont incomplètes voir inexistantes; pas de room service, uniquement un restaurant ( si on peu appeller cet endroit un restaurant, plutôt une cantine d'ecole) où il etait possible de commander des plats à se faire livrer en chambre et le déjeuner était à la limite du comestible ( attention au jus d'orange!). En conclusion, il n'est jamais agréable de devoir donner un avis de la sorte à un hotel ( même si c'est une grande chaine) mais ici il ne s'agit pas d'un 4* mais d'un 3* correct, et encore. Et pour finir, il faudrait également autoriser le personnel à sourire, ca ne ferait de mal à personne!

Gute Ausgangslage für die Erkundung der Altstadt. Super Japaner MASA gleich um die Ecke!
Pros:

Zentrale Lage, grosses Zimmer.

Cons:

Prekäre Zufahrts- und Parkierungssituation infolge Baustelle vor Hotel. Ungemütlicher und lauter Frühstücksraum. Heizung/Lüftung schlecht steuerbar, 26Grad im Zimmer ist zu hoch.

disappointing but not terrible
Pros:

At first glance the room was attractive and modern, though small, with good quality fittings. However, I would give this hotel a mid-level ranking for the following reasons:

-- The advertised "Queen Room" does not have a queen-sized bed! It is a smallish double bed. Fortunately it is a comfortable bed. And the insulated windows do block out street noise so we slept well.

-- There is almost no storage in the room. There is only one drawer, and access to this is awkward as it is blocked by a sliding metal grill, which seems to serve no purpose at all.

-- Breakfasts in Italian hotels are often disappointing. I was hoping that Hilton, as a large American hotel chain, might offer an excellent breakfast. That was not the case. A lot of the products were of poor quality, such as the very wet scrambled eggs and the sugary orange 'juice'.

-- The reception staff are not welcoming at all. Perhaps they haven't been taught how to greet guests in English.

-- The 'Garden Inn' has no garden!

-- The location is a bit out of the way though there are buses which connect it to the city centre and train station.
