NOT for two people
Pros:

The location is good and the rooms are clean and modern. For one person, this could be a nice stay, though still too expensive.

Cons:

This is basically a fancy dorm room, and I cannot believe the prices they charge. We booked a King Room for two people. The room was TINY. The bed was pushed up by the window and three sides were surrounded by walls, so only one person could get in properly. The second person also didn't have a side table or charging port. The toilet and shower were right next to the bed and the wall was translucent so you could see the person using them. It did nothing to hide sounds or smells either. The sink was in the room itself, with no separation (unless you count a VERY sheer "privacy curtain"). To use the bathroom at night I had to climb over my partner, which woke him. It wouldn't be the worst thing if it was cheap, but for $350 a night I expected at least proper walls, and a bed that two people can easily get in and out of. The room is so clearly for one person and pretending it fits two is honestly a scam.

I always enjoy the hotel because of the location and the great service!
Pros:

CitizenM is the perfect location: Boston Back Bay is in the center of the city's most beloved neighborhood- historic, full of boutiques, restaurants, and bookshops on Newbury Street and close to Fenway Park to catch the Sox. I always enjoy my stay at this hotel. Staff is extremely accommodating and the rooms extra clean.

Cons:

Bike lane too close to entrance.

Was unimpressed by the lack of comfort, room felt spartan.
Cons:

Room was the size of a jail cell.
Shouldn’t have to use an iPad to control lights, shades, tv, etc.
iPad is fine as an option but shouldn’t be the only way to go.
No privacy in shower, bathroom.

The environment was very artsy. Bed was.comfy. The lighting options im the room were cool!.

The view was amazing. Lots of local restaurants and nearby to concert venue MGM direct train access.

Cons:

The rooms were small, no parking or way to drop off your luggage and floors were sticky

Pros:

Very central to all the good stuff, connected to public subway, great amenities close by and it's has a really cool vibe, very clean and modern and the staff are amazing.

I was provided an ADA compliant room which I didn’t ask for and didn’t know until after I got to the room - no counter/surface space for my toiletries, clothes, i had to put everything either on the bathroom floor or on my bed.
I attempted to talk to a staff member about it just to express my frustration and they were highly defensive and blamed booking.com versus having a simple conversation with me. Not having the capacity to engage in elementary customer service while I was paying quite a bit is truly unfortunate and not acceptable.
Also oddly dirty carpets in the hallways and lobby areas.
