Ein stilvolles Designhotel in bester Lage an der Newbury Street, ideal für einen Kongressaufenthalt
Pros:

Ein schickes Designhotel mit netter, stylischer Ausstattung und einer einladenden Lobby, in der man gern Zeit verbringt. Besonders gefallen hat mir die kleine Bibliothek. Die Lage ist hervorragend: Das Hotel liegt in einem sehr angenehmen Viertel direkt an der Newbury Street, wo man mit ihren Restaurants, Cafés und Geschäften wunderbar bummeln kann. Das Zimmer ist modern eingerichtet, das Bett sehr bequem, und das Personal war freundlich und unkompliziert.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind eher kompakt, für einen Aufenthalt allein aber völlig ausreichend.
Die Bücher in der Bibliothek sind nach Farben sortiert. Das ist stilistischer Firlefanz, als Leser sucht man Bücher lieber nach Autor oder Thema.

Fantastic Location
Pros:

Great location in Back Bay. Right across the road from the main shopping street. The room is a bit on the snug side, but to be expected, and it was very cosy and the design was well thought out. Super easy experience checking in/out and the staff were on hand and helpful. Not at all far from the free airport bus drop off/pick up. Would definitely recommend.

This feels more like a clean dormitory than a 4-star hotel.
Pros:

The room was clean, and the complimentary fruit and snacks in the lobby were a nice touch.

Cons:

There’s no kitchenette in the room. The weirdest part was the bottled water: the bottles had fixed caps, but there was no bottle opener in the room. When I called to ask for one, I was told I could “borrow” one from the lobby. When I went downstairs, another staff member told me I had to bring the bottle down so they could open it for me! After a couple of back-and-forth exchanges, someone finally gave me the opener. Seriously?
The filtered tap at the bar wasn’t working, so we had to refill our bottles from a large water dispenser. It was messy and uncomfortable, and not what you’d expect from a 4-star hotel.
The reception staff seemed overwhelmed, particularly during check-in. I had no problem using the self-service laptops, but throughout my stay, I saw several guests struggling with the process and needing assistance. There simply weren’t enough staff members available to help. The hotel should invest in better-trained, professional front-desk staff rather than relying so heavily on inexperienced young employees.
The view selection is another oddity. During check-in, guests are asked to choose a view. How is a traveler supposed to know which view is actually worth choosing? I selected a “Back Bay view,” only to end up looking out at a back street with dumpsters. If the hotel offers view options, it should provide meaningful descriptions or actual photos so guests can make an informed choice.
Overall, the hotel was clean, but the experience fell short of what I’d expect from a 4-star property. Some basic details were poorly handled, and the service and amenities didn’t justify the hotel’s positioning.

המלון ממוקם באזור מצויין ברחוב newbury המקסים והכיפי ב-back bay, צמוד לרכבת תחתית הקו הירוק, מה שמקל מאד על הגישה לכל המקומות בעיר. מלון חדשני, מיטה נוחה, התאורה-הטלביזיה והתריסים נשלטים מטאבלט קטן ומגניב וזה מאד נוח. יש כספת גדולה וארון לבגדים קטן. הציון לגבי הצוות הוא רק 4, כי פשוט הכל מעולה ולא נזקקתי לעזרתם. ממליץ מאד

זרם המים במקלחת לא חזק והמים לא היו רותחים.

I would probably stay elsewhere next time I am in town

Cons:

The room size, no hooks in the shower and not having a designated parking garage.
