Staying at a nice place during a heat wave, but their pool was closed during our stay
Pros:

The breakfast was alright, everything that was supposed to be warm was warm, and vice. Versa. There was a good selection. Room was clean

Cons:

there was a used Cotton swab on the floor in the bathroom. The pool was closed. It was 90 degrees the whole time we were there. The front desk told us that pools at hotels are generally opened Memorial day to Labor day. I can understand the hotels up north, but this was at the Carolina coast. Every hotel in the area had their pools open. We went to Lunch at a Hampton Inn in Carolina Beach. The restaurant was next to the pool, and it was opened. When I brought this up to the front desk, they told me the city had to give them a certification before they could open. Does the city not like your hotel. I would have stayed at the Hampton down the street, but they didn't have our choose of room available at the booking. Their pool was opened also.

Disappointed compared to other stays here.
Pros:

It’s proximity to my work office.

Cons:

We had a fire alarm go off the first night around midnight and then the power went out my last day sound 9:45am and didn’t come back on until checkout time and still the elevators didn’t work and I had to make several trips down 3 flights of stairs with bad knees and heavy luggage.

both nights I was there something bit me in the bed reported n I requested my whole bed be changed still was getting bit. they took out 275.00 for a night I didn't stay said I checked out late, when they had a power outage I came down 3 times to check out but could not. they cost me for something they should not plus a 50 security deposit.

Nice and clean, nice staff
Pros:

Nice location, everything you need, great staff

Cons:

Lights are bright everywhere, hallway, and inside room hard to just have one dim light on while sleeping(microwave light was the only solution). Breakfast wasn’t very good for us, no bacon, chicken sausage was dry and yucky.

My stay was 9/10 and only from being hard to find. The staff was supper amazing! And the breakfast….10/10💯
Pros:

I guess because it’s new, it was confusing to find. BUT the staff is super friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and no hassle with housekeeping everyone was very professional!
