Fantastic experience because of Giovanni and his staff.
Pros:

Giovanni is absolutely the BEST! He made the experience incredible. Everyone should meet a Giovanni once in their lifetime. His shuttle service was also invaluable. View from the rooms was fantastic as was breakfast!

Great hospitality
Pros:

Our stay at Il Barilotto was wonderful! The place is beautiful with stunning sea views and well cared for, but what truly makes it special is the people. Giovanni and his family made us feel completely at home — so warm and welcoming! The homemade breakfast was delicious, made with love and fresh ingredients.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Il Barilotto sehr genossen. Die Atmosphäre war äußerst herzlich und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Der italienische Charme war unvergleichbar, das Frühstück sehr lecker und der Ausblick traumhaft. Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und der Shuttle-Service ins Zentrum ist absolut praktisch. Unser Zimmer und das Bad waren modern und sauber. Absolut empfehlenswert!

The breakfast was outstanding and prepared for us individually each morning by the cheerful chef and our hosts. The views from the top floor, our room, and the breakfast area were outstanding. This is a family-owned and run business, and our hosts made us feel welcome and part of the family. They recommended a fantastic restaurant close by for dinner and we were picked up and dropped off at the door of the restaurant. Again, this was a traditional Italian restaurant that was family-owned and run. Amazing food and great atmosphere. We both loved our stay.

Cons:

The hotel is located a few km's from Positano town, but the bus service dropped us at the door when we returned from our day exploring. The hotel also provided free transport to and from the top of Positano at set times throughout the day.
