Pros:

La struttura è fantastica. La vista e la pace che regala questo posto è qualcosa di inspiegabile. Lo staff ha massima attenzione per il cliente in ogni piccola cosa. Cibo ottimo.

Cons:

Forse solo il percorso per raggiungere il castello ma comunque lo staff è pronto ad aiutare l'ospite in arrivo.

Magical spot with panoramic views.
Pros:

Brilliant restoration of a beautiful 19th century - yet older style - castle. Family owned and run, excellent food and wine selections, also own local production.

Cons:

As often in Italy, outside areas are closed during winter time despite ideal weather and sunshine. Recommended there could be outdoor sauna and something else, as especially views are spectacular.

I highly recommend staying here. It’s one of those places that lingers with you long after you’ve left.

Our stay at Castel di Rocca was nothing short of magical. I genuinely wish we had booked more nights, because everything about the experience was exceptional. The staff were the real standout, especially Fabiana: warm, attentive, and incredibly detail-oriented in a way you rarely see.

The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the room amenities were exceptional. Nothing was overlooked; they had everything prepared for us, right down to toothbrushes and toothpaste. Breakfast was very good, and the local wine selection was a lovely touch that made the evenings feel even more special.

Da non spifferare troppo in giro
Pros:

Un restauro senza paragoni, probabilmente in tutto il Cilento e ben oltre. Il privilegio di "vivere" un luogo carico di storia. La premura di tutto il personale. La calma e viste mozzafiato a 360 gradi, tra campagna e mare, collegati dal cromatismo dei vecchi tetti del borgo. Attenzione ad ogni dettaglio, in ogni angolo. Una camera semplicemente da... fiaba, con materiali, accorgimenti, decori, sanitari,... unici, di provenienza inevitabilmente artigianale. E ovviamente l'abbinamento culinario in sintonia. Raramente mi è capitato di poter concordare sull'uso dell'abusato qualificativo "eccellenza".
What else? ...Beh...un particolare ringraziamento a Stefano Sgueglia e alla follia di un'impresa impossibile, in un territorio dove tutto è smisuratamente più laborioso di quanto possa lontanamente immaginare il comune pellegrino.

Cons:

Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl), per il suo matrimonio al Castello, avrebbe potuto gratificarci della presenza di Blake Lively nel Cilento. Invece no.

Struttura incantevole. Una scoperta continua ogni singolo spazio del castello

Cons:

La cena al ristorante, un’esperienza da dimenticare. La cucina cilentana è sempre stata una cucina abbondante e fatta di piatti semplici. Ebbene la cena è stata a base di piatti (ingiustificatamente) complessi, a mio avviso mal eseguiti (alcuni addirittura serviti freddi), con porzioni striminzite (ne ho viste di molto più abbondanti in ristoranti tristellati). Secondo me, vista l’assenza di ristoranti nei paraggi, andrebbe completamente rivisto il ristorante dell’hotel. Chiaramente prezzi ingiustificatamente cari
