Very comfortable and well located cosy hotel
Pros:

Very comfortable and well located cosy hotel. Good choice at breakfast and small afternoon tea also included on a terrace with nice river views. Comfortable and cosy rooms. Can be noisy in the evenings as there are singers and live music outside but ear plugs are provided, so no issue.
We had to leave early one morning and the staff provided us good packed breakfast.

Das Personal war super nett und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war schön und sah aus wie auf den Fotos - wenn auch ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Alles war sauber in unserem Zimmer, wir waren zufrieden!

Cons:

In einigen Zimmern roch es extrem nach Rauch, so sehr, dass der Geruch in die Kissen und Handtücher reingezogen war - trotz Nichtraucherzimmer mit Rauchverbot. Unser Zimmer war gut und roch nicht, aber unsere Freunde mussten mehrfach um ein neues Zimmer bitten, bis sie ein rauchfreies bekamen.

Wir hatten das Zimmer vorher reserviert, unsere Freunde nicht. Möglicherweise macht das einen Unterschied, aber vielleicht hatten wir auch einfach nur Glück.

Das Personal war sehr, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat alles getan, um unseren Freunden ein geruchsneutrales Zimmer zu organisieren. Wir selbst waren sehr zufrieden mit allem, aber aufgrund der Erfahrung unserer Freunde würden wir das Hotel leider trotzdem nicht noch einmal buchen.

Clean, convenient to visit the city.
Pros:

Very friendly staff. Convenient to visit the city and key monuments (elephant trunk hill, sun and moon pagodas, etc) and its in front of the river. The room had a decent size and was modern.

Cons:

Location can by noisy at night. While it stops relatively early (9pm), if you are a light sleeper you might get woken up by motorcycles honking with every turn. The hotel provides earplugs, but in my opinion its something they could have thought of when building the hotel. It doesn’t seem to have double glazed windows.

Pros:

Breakfast was ok. We had a room for 3 adults, even though the solo bed was for a kid. Luckly my daughter is small. The room is ok but a little small. It has various different floor levels, so we had to be careful not to fall down. Very well located. We walked to a lot of places from here.

Cons:

Nobody speaks English but they do their best to help you with the translator. The seats for the kids were not very clean. Everything was on the floor, even though we knew that already.
