100% would recommend
Pros:

Everything was perfect! If you want a relaxing escape this is the perfect place. You can have a walk around the vineyard, chill at the pool, have a wine tasting. Breakfast is delicious and the staff is very helpful, especially Francisco.

Cons:

It’s not an inconvenience, but if you stay there more nights you might need to take the car to get to a restaurant for lunch/dinner. The property does not have a restaurant, but they have a snack menu available until 19:00-19:30. You can find a variety of charcuterie options, salads, toasted sandwiches. Also, they helped us to get a taxi, so if you want to go for dinner but you already did the wine tasting, you can book a taxi through them. Uber drivers are not always available there.

After the chaos of Porto, Quinta Dona Matilde, sitting amidst nature, was heaven.
Pros:

Staying in Quinta Dona Matilde was a highlight for us. Tucked into the hillside overlooking the Duoro River, this charming quinta continued to surprise us - superb breakfast, the Dona Matilde 18-year old port, walking amidst the vineyard vines at sunrise, learning the family's history, and the kindness of the staff.

A experiência na Quinta é indescritível. Desde o excelente atendimento dos funcionários, passando pelas instalações lindas e confortáveis, até a vista que temos do Douro que é de tirará o fôlego.

Pros:

Adoramos a estadia na Quinta Dona Matilde. É uma casa de família muito bem renovada, com poucos quartos — apenas cinco —, o que torna a experiência muito tranquila, acolhedora e exclusiva. O ambiente é familiar, silencioso e perfeito para aproveitar a tranquilidade do Douro.

O quarto era muito confortável, limpo e bem cuidado. A vista é linda, o café da manhã excelente e o staff extremamente simpático e atencioso. A localização também é ótima, próxima à Régua, mas ao mesmo tempo em um local calmo, rodeado pela paisagem do Douro.

Foi uma estadia muito agradável, confortável e autêntica. Eu voltaria novamente com certeza.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt einfach nicht, das können die tolle Lage und das Anwesen auch nicht rechtfertigen.

Die Lage und das Grundstück mit den Weinbergen und Olivenbäumen und der schönen Aussicht ist gut.

Cons:

Der Pool ist in katastrophalem Zustand und völlig in die Jahre gekommen. Der Putz oder Folie blättert überall ab. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer lässt zu Wünschen übrig. Die Terrassentüren schließen nicht dicht ab, unten sind große Schlitze, durch die alles reinkrabbeln kann. Keine Steckdosen am Bett. Bereits ab 19 Uhr ist niemand mehr da und man kann nicht mal etwas zum Trinken bekommen.
