The setting is spectacular with stunning vistas over the Douro River. The Quinta has been beautifully restored and the guest rooms have a river view. The heated infinity pool (in October) was a treat. The staff were so helpful and friendly (Francisco x 2). Breakfast in the dining room was delicious. Wine tasting (old vines) and snacks on the terrace was very special.

Cons:

The bed small for 2 (a double size, not a Queen or King).

Beds are very uncomfortable, kept awake all night by a crying dog tied up next to the house, and a very noisy air-conditioner.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Terrasse, von der wir einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Douro hatten. Die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm und wir haben den Infinity Pool ausgiebig genossen. Was für tolle Tage. 😍

Lugar lindo, vista espetacular para o Douro, lugar intimista, ótimo café da manhã.
Vale parabenizar o Francisco, muito gentil. Quantos aos vinhos divino👏👏
Voltaremos mais vezes

Cons:

Não gostamos da cama do quarto que ficamos, é de ferro, faz muito barulho quando nos mexemos. Acho que vale a substituição.
E falta um frigobar no quarto.

Beautiful location with views across the river, lovely room, friendly staff

Cons:

A lack of amenities in the rooms, they don’t have fridges, or tea/coffee making facilities, cutlery/glasses, but neither do they offer dinner, there is a light snack menu available until 7pm. The Quinta is also a 20 minute drive to the nearest shops/restaurants, so some amenities in the rooms would be useful.

Pati ēka ir vēsturiska un ir pārbūvēta viesu izmitināšanai. Viss ir ļoti intīms un ļoti jauks. Ēdamistabā jūs priecēs vēsturiskas mēbeles un trauku kolekcija - fantastiski portugāļu porcelāna eksemplāri. Pa logiem paveras unikāls skats uz Douro upes ieleju. Jauki ir vērot laivas, baržas un kruīza kuģus, kas lēni paslīd garām. Vīnogulāju terases ar senām un modernām vīna darītavām visapkārt, ir patiešām elpu aizraujošs skats.
Īpaši atzīmējams ir baseins līdz kuram nokļūst cauri skaistam terašu dārzam. Peldoties, skats uz Douro upi un ieleju ir vēl neaizmirstams, it īpaši saulrietā.

Cons:

Iebraucot stāvvietā trūkst norādes uz recepciju. Nācās mazliet maldīties pirms atradām pareizās durvis.

Amazing place to reset and admire views
Pros:

Amazing views, very nice host Francisco who helped us with everything, shared some restaurant recommendations and gave us a really warm welcome! Beautiful surroundings, great pool, delicious homemade breakfast and amazing wine!
