My family of 5 had a good stay at Somerset Haizhu Centre. Will consider staying there again.
Pros:

1) Hotel is located near 2 malls, one of them is connected and can be accessed via the hotel reception.
2) Room is nice, spacious and provides all the necessary amenities.
3) Price of room per night is attractive.

Cons:

The breakfast spread and quality is average.

Pretty good.
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay. Jason at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. He let us checked in early and upgraded our room. He also addressed all our concerns and queries swiftly.

Cons:

The towel could be better and the corridor to the unit was very stuffy and warm.

A bad experience on the check in process
Pros:

Nothing much except that there is a mall which can be accessible by level 5 of the hotel ( but this mall nothing to shop except for some dining choice)

Cons:

During the check in process, it was the worst experience I had thru out my whole trip. The Longhair lady staff was so rude. I don't know why my card cant go thru the payment and she keep telling me is my card issue. I explained to her that it worked well for me in quanzhou and xiamen. I was trying to test out other method, she gave me bad face.. She didn't even bother to tell me where and what time is the breakfast. As I overheard the other staff mentioning to the other check in guest, so I went over to ask. And she charged me more than my actual hotel amount. My room rate for both room is CNY 1560 and deposit of CNY 1000, total should be ard CNy2560. She charged me CNY2800.
I didn't realised I didn't charged more for my room rate while check in. After realizing it, I went back to the counter to confirm. The 2nd guy told me is due to 1.06% tax. And he don't bother you help me check. I went to search for my booking record and went down again, this time, I met Lei, he able to help me check and said will refund me at the end of the stay.
The check in process was stressful and the lady really give me bad face and she just continue to do her paper work of tax invoice.
Please improve on your customer service area.
