Nice hotel, poor value
Pros:

The hot tub, location, and complimentary shuttle service were very nice.

Cons:

The room service and overall cleanliness of the property could really use some work. Many of the amenities within our room were never restocked and the carpets in the main areas were very dirty and need to be replaced or steam cleaned. We were guaranteed late checkout at 2 PM upon our arrival, however, upon the day of checkout, the hotel was unable to accommodate this. This completely derailed our travel plans and was incredibly inconvenient. When paying $700 per night to stay at a hotel, these things should be guaranteed if granted prior.

Overall, the value of this property is slightly overrated.

Pros:

We loved our room with king size bed and balcony view of the mountains

Cons:

The Sudden Sally restaurant!!! We ordered 2 salads and took them up to our room to eat. Both salads were disgusting!! My husband got food poisoning from the chicken in his salad. It was like leftover chicken salted again to freshen up but should not have been put on a $25. salad. Had to bring other salad and told restaurant hostess to throw it out in their garbage. Asked our room number so manager could call us but later was told no manager was working that night of the long weekend. Mentioned to front desk the next morning and they too took our room number so manager could call us so we delayed our plans to check out. We checked out around 10:30 and didn't get a call until much later in the day. At that time we were asked to share our experience at Sudden Sally's but at that point what was the point!!!!

Amazing mountain views and great service
Pros:

The hotel with it’s great views, hot pools, sauna and bus passes during our stay was amazing.

Cons:

Bed side storage for each side of the bed would be practical.

Pros:

They made our stay exceptionally pleasant, as we were there to celebrate our family members Birthdays!

They went above and beyond with having our room ready for an early check-in, as well as having a little "Happy Birthday" cake, which was a nice touch! The mountain views from our room were breathtaking.

Staying at Hotel Canoe is a must! We shall be back someday!

Disappointing and would not recommend other than the restaurant where the food and staff were excellent
Pros:

The location is good and lovely hot tub and sauna

Cons:

This is rated 4 star and you get given one tea bag each per night. Also after our night our room wasn’t made up and we had to ask someone to do. The second night we came back around 3 to find room nit made up. We had another tour and when we got back beds were made but dirty mugs left

Great overall, some details could make it perfect
Pros:

The people were nice, and the location and bedroom facilities were great. We enjoyed the hot tub most days, great after long hikes. The tickets to ride the bus to town for free were very handy.

Cons:

We could hear the road, as it was in front of our bedroom, and there were so many lights coming into the room from the corridor and the light on the balcony that cannot be switched off. The towel and robes were a bit old, fraying, not soft at all, i would expect better for this price.

Beautiful hotel in the mountains.
Pros:

The hot springs and mountain view were so beautiful and relaxing. Size of the room was spacious. Friendly staff. Convenient location. Free bus tickets.

Cons:

Air conditioning unit was so loud and inconsistent no one was able to get a good night's sleep. Beds were also so hard and noisy everytime someone got up out of bed it would wake everbody up. No fans in the bathroom.

I definitely recommend this place.
Pros:

Super nice and clean. The room layout and small details in the room were well thought out. Probably one of the nicer places we’ve stayed where there was no detail I could have asked for.

The very best location to stay in the town of Banff to use transportation beautiful
Pros:

The rooms were very nice and big, I loved the daily fresh coffees and teas that we could brew in the room, hotel is perfectly next to the first pick up bus that leads to town, which makes it incredibly convenient, so the buses weren’t crowded when we got on. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Everything was clean and spotless. It was perfect.
