Perfect place to stay in Hydra. Large room and large bathroom. Very clean and quiet but still close to bars and restaurants. Host is very nice and response quickly. I definitely recommend this place to stay and wish to go back again.

The Alexandra Guesthouse is a great find on Hydra. The staff was friendly and had great suggestions for sightseeing and dining. The room was small, efficiently furnished and had been recently renovated. Everything you need for a stay on Hydra.

Alexandra Guesthouse on Hydra is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms were incredibly clean, with linens and towels changed daily. The staff were very friendly, and our hostess was particularly kind and service-minded, which made our stay even better.

We really appreciated being able to relax in a cooled room, and the building's authentic feel gave us a true taste of local culture. We did not want white, smooth walls and boring, generic hotel interiors on our trip, and Alexandra Guesthouse delivered exactly what we were looking for. We truly felt like we were staying in a local Hydra (guest)house, not a mainstream hotel.

If we travel to Hydra again in the future, Alexandra Guesthouse is at the top of our list of places to stay.

Jätte fint, mysigt rum och rent. Trevlig ägare som tog emot oss och gav oss bra information om ön. Täckningen i rummet var inte bra och tvn fungerade inte. Lägenheten låg i väldigt bra läge, bara 150 m från hamnen. Rekommenderar.

Very nice people and optimal location

Wonderful guesthouse. Quiet, clean, nice design. Very close to harbour and Center, but not loud. Very good shape. Very nice and service oriented staff. They‘ll see me soon again. Had a wonderful time.

My only complaint was the A/C wasn't very good in my room during the day. At night it was fine. Everything else was perfect and will stay again.

L'hôtel est proche du port mais suffisamment éloigné pour ne pas en subir les nuisances sonores. Une personne nous attendait afin de porter nos bagages. La chambre correspondait à la description et à la photo. Une cour intérieure avec des tables et des chaises ainsi que de la vaisselle permet d'y déjeuner. Tout est très propre. Seul petit bémol la chambre située au rez de chaussée n'avait pas de vue hormis sur la cour intérieure et la rue.

Cortile interno luminoso e molto bello, con i tavoli in marmo ottimi per fare colazione.
Camera spaziosa e davvero tipica, con muri in pietra, letto grande e molto comodo.
Connessione wi-fi in camera più che accettabile; ottimo il kit per scaldare acqua per caffè o tè a colazione.

Anreise mit Flug Athen und shuttle mit Dolphin Hellenic Seaways. Das Alexandra Guesthouse ist sehr zentral gelegen und trotzdem ruhig, dies ist von Vorteil weil in Hydra, weder Autos noch Fahrräder erlaubt sind, aber abends am Hafen viel los ist. Kaffees, Essen usw. Ich wurde abgeholt, mein Koffer transportiert und ins guesthouse gebracht, wo ich freundlich von der Schwester des Besitzers empfangen wurde. Sie ist auch täglich Vormittags da, sodass man Wünsche oder Fragen klären kann. Alles sehr sauber und dezent in weiss und grau neu renoviert. Täglich Reinigung und frische Handtücher gab es öfter als erwartet. Netter Innenhof zum sitzen oder selbst frühstücken, alles sehr angenehm. Hotel und Hydra eher für Erholung suchende, weniger für Discofans. Viele verschiedene Strände, manche nur mit Boot zu erreichen, aber es gibt regelmässig div. shuttle (kosten was, je nach Entfernung 3-15 Euro hin/retour) und diese Kiesel-Strände (Badeschuhe angenehm) sind meist von netten griechischen Familien betreut. Schirme, Liegen (ca.3 Euro) und Salate, Sandwich oder Getränke kann man auch kaufen wenn man nichts mit hat. Sehr sauberer Hafenort, Esel und Maultiere transportieren alles, viele süße Katzen, die auch gerne was kriegen. Gesamt sehr erholsam und es gab keine Probleme weder mit Hotel noch betreffend Grexit usw.
