Great location
Pros:

Great stay at La Veranda. Nice chilled music in the restaurant and lovely views from the pool area towards Santa Marta & sunset. They found a great solution for an issue and were very helpful, happy hour was nice too. We loved rhe warm shower. 20min walk to Minca is easily doable.

Cons:

There could be more vegetarian options on the menu, so we had dinner in Minca.

Pros:

wunderbare Lage im Wald oberhalb von Minca, sauber. Essen gut und für Vegetaris geeignet.

Cons:

ständige Musikbeschallung. Es wäre so schön gewesen, wenn man die Vögel der Umgebung und die Zikaden hätte hören können, wenigstens morgens zwischen 06:00 und 09:00 und abends zwischen 17:00 und 19:00.
Freundlichkeit des Personals in voller Bandbreite, teilweise leider auch unmotiviert.

Pros:

Die Hotelanlage inkl. Pool und Restaraunt ist schön. Die Lage ist auch gut, erhöht & abseits vom Dorf aber trotzdem kann man sie Strecke zu Fuss (25 Min circa) zurücklegen. Das Essen im Restaurant war auch sehr gut. Inkludiertes Fruhstück war ausreichend und in Ordnung.

Cons:

Das Zimmer ist etwas muffig und in die Jahre gekommen. Das Badezimmer war nicht ganz sauber (Haare der Vorgänger in der Dusche). Warum unsere Bewertung so schlecht ausfällt: Das Personal war total lustlos, man fühlte sich überhaupt nicht willkommen. Als wir Probleme mit dem Warmwasser hatten, half man uns nur wiederwillig und das Problem wurde leider auch nicht gelöst. Im Restaurant wurden wir teilweise ignoriert, obwohl 5 Personen vom Service einfach nur dort standen bzw. miteinander sprachen. Als man irgendwann auf sich aufmerksam machte, zeigte man uns sehr deutlich, dass sie sich von uns gestört fühlten und man kam lustlos zu unserem Tisch und fragte, was man wolle.

Pros:

Heerlijk hotel met een fijn zwembad en een fantastisch restaurant. Een stukje lopen de berg op van het dorp maar prima te doen. Heerlijk warme douche!

La comida estuvo muy deliciosa, las vista en los balcones, eran demasido lujosas en cuanto a la tranquilidad.

Cons:

Tuvimos un pequeño inconveniente con el agua y nos inundamos, pero la solución del equipo fue muy rapida y sobre todo profesional.

Beautiful stay near Minca
Pros:

Really beautiful property - my friend and I enjoyed sitting in the dining area or by the pool and watching the birds and surrounding jungle. On several occasions we sat and enjoyed the view for hours at a time. Our room felt very clean. Unfortunately we had food poisoning (NOT from La Veranda - from somewhere else in Minca) and the staff helped us get snacks and pedialyte delivered and brought rice to our room when we asked which was a blessing.

Cons:

The staff helped us with everything we asked; however, sometimes it felt like we were a burden for asking. When the wifi was working, it was super fast and could support streaming, but it didn’t work during our whole stay. Also, the water at the whole property wasn’t working for about an hour, which wouldn’t have been a big deal expect it was when we had then aforementioned food poisoning
