Shuld be 5*. But..

On paper shuld be 5*..But (a big one but)
1. When we checking in we ask to pay an extra of 10% service. When I refuse I been told that the service is for worker and I said (first time that happened to me) service you at the end when there is a service and it is good.
2. Hot water in shower (very big and beautiful) come after 4 min and for a short time (between 1-2 min)
3. A lot of musqito in pool area.
4. Shower comes with no places to put down the shampoo&soap. We put them on the floor (very odd)
5. Sofa in room is for children (An adult cannot sit on it.)
Shuld be 5* easy.

El hotel es sencillo pero lindo. El personal de recepción y comedor excelente servicio. El personal de limpieza muy mediocre, el baño siempre con pelos y cabellos de los huéspedes anteriores, eso es muy desagradable.

It was a magical stay! Perfect location, right in the middle of the city, but still very quiet. The team there is amazing and always happy to help. Daniella and Jorge were the best!
It was very clean and breakfast was delicious!

My best friend and I had the best stay at Palmas de Alba. The hotel staff was so efficient and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were so comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend to anyone to stay here. I will be staying again next time I visit Cartagena

We had a fantastic stay at Palma de Albas. The hotel is a beautiful quiet escape from Cartagena, but very close to all amenities. A special shout out to Carlos, who was amazing and helped us have such a memorable stay.

Essa foi uma ótima escolha. O hotel era muito bem localizado, em uma região bonita, segura e tranquila, a apenas alguns minutos de excelentes restaurantes e das principais atrações de cartagena. O atendimento foi impecável, quarto impecável e café da manhã extremamente agradável. Recomendo muito este hotel.

Pros:

We enjoyed our stay very much. It’s a beautiful property, very well located outside of the most populated area, and the staff was exceptional.

I would recommend adding more awareness in the public areas of the hotel where there is different leveling on the floor. It is easy to fall.

Can’t recommend this place enough! It was beautiful, clean, safe, within walking distance to everything! The staff were incredible and highly accommodating. The attention to detail was superb. Great breakfast included every morning.

Beautifully decorated, perfectly located.

Daniela and Jorge are amazing! They made our stay unforgettable by making sure we were always ok. The hotel is really beautiful and perfectly located. Central to main attractions without being in the midst of crazy sounds. Very safe location. Great breakfast. Clean pools (although we had to tell them twice to clean to rooftop one). Overall, an amazing hotel. We would love to come back.
