Pal in het hartje van het centrum en oude stad.
Dus eigenlijk ideaal om te verblijven, ook de gastvrouw (denk uitbaatster) is gewillig om te helpen en mee te denken en uitleg te bieden wat je zeker dient gezien te hebben en of gedaan te hebben.
het geluid onder onze kamer was niet te doen, dit is ook een reden geweest dat wij een dag voor het normaal vertrek zijn vertrokken naar een andere locatie.
Onder onze kamer was volgens ons de keuken voorzien, wij hebben geen idee hoe het zit met de geluidsdemping van de plafonds en vloeren.
Wij weten alleen perfect wanneer ze beginnen voor te bereiden in de keuken en wanneer dit gedaan is.
Dit was eigenlijk onze wekker, we moesten zelf niet zetten... rond +/- 6 a 7 uur lokale tijd wisten wij dat ze aan het voorbereiden waren.

Nice staff, hotel is very pretty and clean. The staff give us tips about places to visit and we asked for our laundry and they charged a small fee which was super convenient, way better than other overpriced hotel fees.
Parking is easy, it's a municipal parking but you can get in and out for free, just have to show the paper to the security guard (they didn't even check just wave the paper and they'll open)
The room is very quiet and spacious. The building is charming.
Breakfast is 8:30, we planned to go to the beach early in the morning and they were kind enough to prepare us a breakfast box one day before.

La posizione fantastica, parcheggio incluso, camera pulita e spaziosa. La ragazza che ha fatto il check in molto gentile, così come l’accoglienza.
Molto rumorosa la piazza adiacente, avevamo la camera che dava sull’ingresso frontale. Fino alle 02 di notte i ragazzini urlavano. La colazione da migliorare, poca scelta di dolci, un po disorganizzato.
The bed was comfortable and it was clean.
Unfortunately, our experience was tainted by the parking situation, which does not match what the hotel advertises.
The hotel claims it has parking, but in reality it doesn't, not reliably. There's one day a week when you're required to move your car out of the affiliated parking space, leaving you to find another spot on your own. They do flag this ahead of time, so that's not the complaint but be prepared to pay an extra €30 on that day. For us, it also meant we had to spend over an hour of driving around the city in traffic, trying multiple parking lots the hotel recommended — all of which were full.
When we asked staff for help, the response was that she didn't really know. She pointed us to a "huge" free public parking lot that supposedly always has spots, so we drove there — only to find it completely packed. When we reported back, we were simply told to wait until a car moved. But the worse was the next day, when we were supposedly able to use the affiliated lot again, it was full, so we still couldn't park.
We also asked to speak with the manager, hoping the parking fees we'd incurred on the second day we had to pay for parking might be compensated. They were quite unhelpful and simply said that parking in Rethymno has always been an issue and a challenge — which did nothing to resolve our situation or acknowledge that the problem stemmed from the hotel advertising parking it couldn't reliably provide.
If a hotel advertises parking, it should at minimum be upfront about the limitations and have staff who can offer real solutions. We wouldn't have minded as much had we known in advance, but being sent on a wild goose chase during our holiday around an unfamiliar city, at extra cost, undermined an otherwise pleasant stay.
La position centrale dans la vieille ville.
Le standard de l'hôtel n'est pas celui d'un 4*. Chambre sombre, salle de bain peu confortable et surtout le petit déjeuner qui, d'après les commentaires est somptueux, s'est révélé très décevant. Pas de service à table, confitures industrielles en barquettes plastique, très peu de choix, très peu de fruits, le saladier des tomates était vide,... les dosettes de café ne sont pas renouvelées dans les chambres et l'eau non plus...
The location is perfect is the centre of Rethymno! Rooms are clean, modern and big. Very comfortable in terms of space. Bathroom is modern. Breakfast is excellent!
We did a late check in and we had been given all the information to get to the room autonomously. Excellent service!
