Wonderful hotel. In addition to the rooms, rooftop area and views, the staff went way above and beyond. We were caught with the transportation strike and Marius took it upon himself to help us and other travelers with transfer options.

Loved this quaint hotel. The room was stylish, clean and well equipped. Within walking distance to the sights. Restaurants, shopping and the roof top patio is a great place to escape to.
Hotel staff is super friendly, helpful and communicates quickly with you.
Be aware that this is not a typical hotel. It is located in a working class neighborhood, and there are no employees on site from about 21:00 until 08:00 in the morning.

We had a great stay! The staff were very attentive, the breakfast was perfect, and we enjoyed the rooftop patio with hot tub after a long day of exploring Athens. We were able to walk to all of the sites and always felt safe in the Mets neighborhood.

I had a wonderful stay at Monastik Living in Athens. The location is ideal — just a short walk from Monastiraki Square, giving you easy access to the Acropolis, Plaka, and vibrant local shops and cafés. Upscale decor and creative design make this boutique hotel a great choice. Recently completely reimagined by the owners who own an architectural design company, you'll find hand-made one-of-a-kind pieces throughout. Don't let the tiny lobby or the non-descript exterior entrance fool you. The cozy rooms with high ceilings, dark wood, lots of texture, soap-stone fixtures and dark tile floors with a very well appointed kitchenette, large walk-in shower and a generous welcome gift basket made for a very comfortable stay. The gorgeous view of the Acropolis from the soaking tub on the roof-top was unforgettable! It's an easy walk to the museum and the major attractions in the city. We'd return here in a heartbeat!

The staff was friendly and helpful. It was only about a 10 minute walk to the main sights in Athens. The room was exactly as described.
The Monastik is more like an apartment, than a hotel (e.g no lobby or on-site dining), but there is a kitchenette to cook, heat up or store food which was a plus.
Very convenient location for the things we wanted to see in Athens, as well as walking distance to pick-up locations for most tours. It served our needs while in Athens.
Spiros greeted us with a warm welcome. He was very helpful in showing us how to use the elevator and codes to our room. He was very responsive in the what’s app and showed us how to make a food delivery to our room. Spiros also gave us directions to Parthenon and helped us with any questions that we had. He was very nice and made our stay a great one. The breakfast in a box was so good!
