It was an amazing experience for all the family. It's 5 minutes walk from a super market with a lot of products.
The view from the apartment was unbelievable, it was super clean and secure.
We'll miss Rico the parrot!

Loved the pet bird

I had a pleasant stay at Blue Horizon. The apartment itself is renovated, and therefore quite modern and fresh. Everything I needed for living comfortably was provided. The view from the balcony is wonderful. I stayed out of season and therefore a car is a must as there are no open shops close by. Malia is an easy 5 minute drive with supermarkets and cafes and a very good bakery. I took me 12 minutes to walk to the beach promenade but it’s a steep climb on the return, so a little longer coming back. There is no lift in the apartments so worth bearing in mind if you have mobility issues.

The owner, Mr Antonis, is delightful. Always on hand to help and to offer advice on trips and local shopping and eateries.

It’s a good base from which to explore the eastern part of Crete and also an easy 20 minute drive from Heraklion Airport.

Das Appartment selber war in Ordnung. Ansonsten war alles eine Baustelle. Noch nicht wirklich ready für Feriengäste.

I stayed on the top floor in the off season and it was very good value. The apartment block is one of the most prominent in the whole area, so the views are spectacular. The apartment had everything I needed, with a small but well equipped kitchen. The bedroom is a good size with a great bed, and the room is dark and quiet at night. I didn't have a vehicle, but Stalida and the seafront are comfortably walkable. Recommended, I'd stay here again.

Het is een heel mooi appartement, met jacuzzi op het terras en geweldig uitzicht. De gastheer is heel vriendelijk. Er zit zelfs een waterzuivering op de waterkraan zodat je niet met flessen water hoeft te slepen.
De omgeving is heel rustig, maar in een paar minuten met de auto sta je in de winkelstraat aan het strand. Absolute aanrader!

I would highly recommend staying at Blue Horizon for your time in Crete. The property is clean top to bottom, and the apartment is spacious and comfortable. The views from the balcony are amazing, and we found ourselves relaxing in the hot tub for hours on end taking in the beautiful scenery (and contemplating life and all of its wonders, LOL)! I travel a lot, and Antonis is one of the most accommodating and thoughtful hosts I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. A full kitchen, with a market in close walking distance, meant we could spend more time simply enjoying our wonderful accommodations.

The owner was very kind, the apartment was well-equipped, clean, and friendly. Beautiful view. Additionally, they helped with everything, even things they didn't need to. They took us shopping and, after a minor accident, brought us cream for the wound! I absolutely recommend it and we will definitely come back. Dimitris and Anita

Sehr schönes Apartment mit einer sehr schönen Aussicht. Von dort aus war alles gut erreichbar. Alles war sauber und der Host ist super freundlich.
Wir würden wiederkommen.

Wat een prachtige accommodatie is dit. Het uitzicht is adembenemend. De jacuzzi is heerlijk en de eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het is schoon en heeft alle voorzieningen. Het is geen accommodatie voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn, omdat er best veel trappen zijn, maar het uitzicht maakt dat ruimschoots goed. Het is bij dit appartement ook wel handig om een auto te huren.

We stayed three nights, one longer than planned, because we enjoyed ourselves so much. Spacious and very clean and fresh appartement with a well equipped kitchenette for a reasonable price. Very pleasant and service-oriented owner who also quickly helped us with a medical problem. We had an apartment with a perfect jacuzzi. The only problem you may experience is that it is very steep up to the apartment with many steps. But then you get a wonderful view!
