Hotel Puerto Pelicano

En general, buen hotel. Muy bien ubicado, cerca de muchas zonas turísticas de Santa Marta y de restaurantes. Las habitaciones son muy básicas pero con lo necesario para poder descansar muy bien.
Los puntos negativos; no hay agua caliente en la regadera y la alberca nos toco en mantenimiento.

Great hotel to stay at in santa marta 100m from the sea front. Close to all the bars and restaurants and exito supermarket about 300m up the road. Rooms are basic but clean were good enough for us as we only needed somewhere to put our heads down and have a shower ! Amazing value for money at this hotel . Staff on reception were amazing so helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble! Thanks jeff , Geraldine and kelli ! Definitely worth a visit and a stay if thinking of visiting santa marta which is a cool place very chill compared to the bigger cities we visited! Many thanks to the team at hotel Puerto pelicano !

Great staff. Nice amenities (AC, wifi, coffee) Just bear in mind that the pool is small and breakfast consists of fruit, egg and toast/arepa, daily.

I stayed at orange hotel for Easter weekend and,I must say the staff was Amazing and professional! The breakfast in the morning was delicious 😋 😊, And everything is a five minute walk!! Beach, restaurants, pharmacy and shopping for souvenirs, I will definitely recommend the orange hotel to anyone who is looking for a place to stay 👌 😀

El centro de Santa Marta está muy bonito y este hotel esta ubicado muy bien. Se puede caminar por los alrededores sin problema.
Las personas del hotel son muy amables. Esto enamora al huésped. El desayuno está bien. Ofrecen agua y café 24 horas al día. Excelente detalle.
No me gustó la piscina, ni el bar arriba, porque fumaban mucho. Así sea al aire libre no debería permitirse fumar allí.
Volvería sin problema a hospedarme allí.
Se debe revisar la ducha del baño, porque se acumula agua y así mismo los oscurecedores de la habitación, porque están puestos al revés.
No tiene ascensor, así que si tienen equipaje voluminoso deben subir dos o tres pisos por la escaleras, eso no está tan bien. Si no desean subir escaleras, deben pedir que su habitación sea en el primer piso.

Bed was a good size for double, one hard pillow and one very soft pillow could do with review. Aircon cold, next to no hot water. Bathroom had mould in shower. I recommend a chair and bin be input into the large room (plenty of space for bags) outside of the bin in the bathroom. Door lock was push button lock. We were on the ground floor and had little protection from noise and light via the one window. Ok for price but should be a wee bit cheaper in my opinion. Breakfast was ok, rooftop hammocks were nice.

Une nuit avant de faire le trek de la cité perdue et j’ai adoré! J’ai tellement adoré que j’ai repris une nuit pour mon retour du trek et j’ai même pu laisser des affaires. Personnel très sympathique, petit dej au top, rooftop reposant et une localisation parfaite qui nous donne un accès rapide à de très bons restaurants. Je ne peux que recommander.

The staff was very helpful and the location convenient. There was loud music from a club nearby one night, but they ended at
midnight.

This is a three star hotel, not four and a half! It’s a quaint boutique hotel with small rooms and not luxurious in the least. The staff is fantastic, the pool is nice and the breakfast and coffee were good. The water temperature in the shower is lukewarm, definitely not hot. We had two maintenance issues with clogged drains in the shower and bathroom sink and they were fixed promptly. Make sure you bring your own shampoo, etc because none is provided. The location of the hotel is excellent and it’s an interesting old building.

Great place with very friendly, professional, and attentive staff. Felt comfortable before I even walked in the door as the lobby view from the street is pleasant and open. Breakfast and coffee were delicious and made to order. Has a bit of the social feel of a hostel while retaining the service, privacy, and convenience of a hotel. It was also right next to the best restaurants in the city and the beach. Would definitely stay again.
