Pros:

The owners are excellent. They attend to any requests. They speak many languages.
Rooms are clean, quiet, with fan and air conditioning
The property beach is lovely. If walk down to the fishing village unfortunately it is littered with garbage and animal feces. Sadly this is present in many countries. Hopefully with time and education this global problem of pollution will be solved.
But the hotel is very relaxing and tranquil with lovely owners. Food is perfection!!!!

Peaceful retreat..although a distance
Pros:

First, this resort is an hour from Barranquilla..just be aware. Second, no A/C (but fans in the room). Third, TONS of mosquitos at night time. The entrance to the ocean cannot be better! Fabulous. Incredibly peaceful! Owner is beyond kind and gracious. Food was delicious (although the most expensive on our entire trip in,Colombia).

Pros:

Perfect quiet get away nobody else on the beach with perfect comfortable cottages and many hammocks around to relax in . Italian food on sight and good close local options ( by bus or Tuk Tuk)
Staff was very helpful from before check in til drop off at the airport

Great hospitality
Pros:

Luca was an excellent host and made the best Italian food. Beach is quiet and good water to swim in. Bed was rock hard, no comfortable chairs or loungers to relax on. I personally don’t find hammocks very comfortable, but there were plenty of those. The town nearby is sketchy.
