Beautiful property.
Interiors are stunning.
From the curb appeal, the entrance, the welcome, the room, the everything about this hotel is fantastic!
If you want a bed for the night and that’s it, use the Premier Inn around the corner.
If you want something a little bit ‘special’ stay here. The building is beautiful, the staff are so welcoming (Peter who welcomed us is an absolute asset!, and the lady in the morning (sorry didn’t get your name) is also fantastic at her job), you won’t want for anything.
Facilities in the room are great and doubt you’ll find fault. Everything in the room is complimentary; the red or white wine, coke, water, milk, tea and coffee, including biscuits and crisps. It’s really great value for money when you work it out (if that’s your thing).
Breakfast: just wow!
Location, it’s as quick to walk to the train station as it is to get a £9 taxi, about 15 minute walk. We went to the Mayflower Theatre which was less than 10 minutes away.
Treat yourself and stay here, you won’t be disappointed.
I didn’t like that we only stayed the one night.
The property was absolutely beautiful! Was like nothing I’ve stayed in before, the bed was so comfortable! It was fantastically clean with gorgeous decor! The breakfast next door at the sister hotel was exceptional, staff were very polite and kind.

Noise by other gusts disturbing sleep
Very clean, staff very polite and approachable. We had lovely full English breakfast which was very tasty at the sister place next door. Will definitely come back again.

Superb customer service from staff and the hotel room was lovely. The breakfast surpassed our expectations and I would most definitely stay here again. A hidden gem of Southampton for sure!
I thought the lighting was lovely and appreciated all the different forms of it, the bathroom was spacious and the bed was so comfortable I cannot remember falling asleep - yes, it was that comfy!
