Absolutely fantastic
Clean and modern
Nothing. I left. It was unsafe
Everything. It was unsafe & the staff didn't help. Was no staff. Had to call the police for help to get back in my room so I could leave. The access into the property/ code for property on the outside/ street was exactly the same as my room. Which all the other guests had. Completely ridiculous. Meaning any of them could get in my room. And the bathroom was across the hall. I was alone, a woman, only booked the room for a shower while I had no gas at home.
Would never recommend anyone to stay there. Needs reporting in my opinion. It's a dodgy place to stay
Very clean and good value for money. Good location.
Perfect except the shower is broken.
Quite and clean
Easy to find and easy to access
Room was modern, nice TV
The area was rough, I had alcoholics and druggies outside shops at both sides of underneath window, making alot of noise, one was sitting on pavement at side of entrance door drinking cider. Made me uncomfortable. There was no parking which made it difficult, not a pleasant stay.
Shower was leaking from shower pipe , very little toiletries as not stated in booking. And shower had not been cleaned properly there were dirty marks on walls inside.Needed to contact host who's number came up as a no caller ID., he had little or no hospitality skills.
The owner Steve was amazingly helpful throughout and couldnt have been nicer.
Not a thing,was perfect
Lovely and clean, everything was perfect.
The location left a lot to be desired , in a very rough area .
Nothing at all.
The bed frame was broken, the bedding had blood stains on it, the outdoor terrace had an unpleasant smell, and all of the cushions were heavily stained.
Despite these issues, my partner and I decided to stay as we had already paid for the accommodation. Before leaving, we cleaned up after ourselves, made the bed, and bagged all of our rubbish.
We also noticed several nitrous oxide canisters (used for balloons) left in the corridor, which did not create a great impression.
The landlord’s customer service was extremely poor. He refused to return our £50 deposit because he found a single cigarette butt and a small amount of ash outside the property. We were aware that smoking was not permitted inside the rooms and fully respected that rule. However, there was nothing stating that smoking was prohibited outside, and there were already cigarette butts among the stones from previous guests.
The landlord claimed he was keeping the deposit to cover damages and additional cleaning costs. There was no damage caused, and removing one cigarette butt and a small amount of ash certainly did not justify a £50 cleaning charge.
We eventually recovered the deposit through our bank. The landlord disputed the claim and submitted photographs as “evidence” of how the room had allegedly been left. The room shown in those photographs was not even our room.
Overall, this was a very unprofessional experience. After reading other reviews, it appears that withholding deposits may be a recurring issue. It feels less like a genuine policy and more like a way of taking extra money from guests.
Outside terrace
Just wish it had hot tub
Never got my deposit back
