Pros:

Next to the night market. Triple room was great . Bigger space.

Cons:

We first stayed in a smaller room. It was too small for us.

it was pleasant until Typhoon Bavi ruined the week. Not any fault of the hotel.
Pros:

I appreciate that the Hotel was able to let me extend by one night since a typhoon cancelled my flight out of Taipei.

Cons:

I am the foreigner so I really don't expect any staff to be fluent in my language. It is my responsibility to find a way to communicate in their language of the country that I am visiting.
I used my phone to translate messages that I couldn't get across. Using the translation app, I told the woman who cleans the rooms that I would use my same towels for the whole week but maybe my phone did not translate it correctly because every day I would return to find at least one new bag of towels around my door knob. So I would leave the bag in front of the door. Some days I would get two bags. I try to use less water and reuse towels on my travels. Finally I caught up with her in the hall and returned the bags of towels.
Since the island got hit by Typhoon Bavi during my stay I decided to use the fitness center since I couldn't really go outside. For a hotel this large I was surprised that there were only two treadmills and two bicycles, one weight bench a rack of weights and an exercise ball. the rec room was meticulously clean but could maybe use an elliptical or a rowing machine or a couple of multi-gym pulls weight systems.
Again, I am the foreigner and maybe the clientele frequenting this hotel don't ever use a hotel gym. European hotels have well stocked rec rooms.

The close proximity to XIMEN Train station. The staffs were very helpful.

Cons:

Will be good if they could add a reminder that toiletries like toothbrushes, Razors are not provided in the room. So that guests could prepare before arriving. Though its not exactly a disruptions to our stay, however, a reminder does help. Check in timing and check out timing could be better managed. Esp during this hot season of stay , the scorching sun just was too hard for us to bear in the outside while awaiting for our flight time .
