Right next to the airport and
Nice hotel with warm and welcoming staff that really take care off you. Fresh facilities with large and nice rooms and a huge pool-area. Good food, a big breakfast buffet and al a carte lunch prepared to order and a poolbar. The Hotel also offers a ”transfer service” wich you book via the reception, and it is like half the price of a regular taxi.
The negative aspects are that there is a DJ by the pool from 10-16 every that plays incredibly loud, annoying music. Im not one to usually complain about sounds at all but the music was extreme. We asked them to lower it but they didnt. It is also quite expensive at the hotel, 8€ for a beer and 11€ for a glass of wine, but thats to be expected in Santorini.
P.S. The hotel is situated right next to the airport, i didnt mind the planes at all but they are definitely noticeable so keep that in mind.
My wife and I have just spent 5 nights at The Amaria Beach Resort which must be one of the top hotels on Santorini. From arrival to departure the experience was 5 star. The resort is spotless, rooms immaculate and food, superb! Marilyn and her staff are the most welcoming and attentive you could wish for. We celebrated a special occasion while we were there so asked Marilyn to arrange a special evening, she didn't disappoint. We will be returning for sure.
Me and my family (4 people) stayed for a week in June 2025 and we loved it!
A very calm and quiet hotel with good food and drinks. The location is golden with a nice beach and not too far from the town Kamari. The staff were nice and kind, and very attentive.
Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant, the hotel staff were exceptional. The hotel is located in a peaceful area and there is a beach located behind the hotel which was also very quiet for the time of the year. Overall, we would love to return, the hotel manager was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable.
Amazing service, great staff, and very enjoyable environment! We loved spending time at the pool. They have a great pool menu, highly recommend their coffee and pinsa. The hotel is right in front of the beach and has private sunbeds and tables (even a swing for the best instagram pictures).
Special thank you to Marilyn for making our stay unforgettable ❤️
I originally booked at another hotel in Santorini but when I went to visit my niece & nephew who was staying at Amāria Beach Resort I fell In love with this hotel so much that I booked a room. The minute we walked in the lobby we felt at home. The hotel is so beautiful & luxurious as well as affordable.
Amir, the concierge went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs. He was very informative of the island as well as helping us with some special requests and arranging transportation for us. He made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
The room itself was absolutely beautiful & immaculate. The bed & blankets were so comfortable. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious.
Overall, I highly recommend Amaria Beach Resort to anyone visiting Santorini. The combination of great service ( thanks again Amir !) and a beautiful resort at an affordable price just made our vacation stay amazing. We are so happy we changed hotels.
The whole hotel was just amazing, with amazing staff who were very attentive, and the food was amazing. Marilyn was lovely and looked after us really well, making us feel really welcome. They went out of their way to accommodate gluten free options.
Even though this was right next to the airport, which is the reason we chose it for an early flight, this spa like environment was absolutely heaven. The perfect ending of a two week trip!
Excellent service and staff !Room was spacious and clean ! Breakfast was delicious with a lots of options. Pool area is the right place for relaxation, cocktails just perfect. We will miss this place .Definitely will come back.
Well done team !
The hotel is beautiful. Gardens and pool area are lovely.
Staff and super friendly and helpful.
Rooms are big, spacious, clean and airy .
It’s near the airport, you get some aircraft noise, but none that really bothered us. Our rooms were on the airport side and noise didn’t wake us or cause any issues. When at the poo ll you don’t notice it at all.
Would recommend and definite we’d stay again
Great place to stay
This hotel is an absolute gem - the entire staff is super service minded, smiling and always ready to accommodate your needs.
The atmosphere of the hotel is very relaxed and friendly. The food is great and in the evening the bartender can make you a cocktail to enjoy in the pool area or to take with you to the black beach nearby where you also can see an amazing sunrise popping up directly over the blue ocean.
Rooms are kept nicely cleaned and we truly loved the aesthetic design of our room and of the entire hotel.
The pool area is great with many sunbeds in the shade or in the sun, all with umbrellas if needed.
Please use the hotels own shuttle service, since it’s cheaper than a regular taxi.
We had a really nice stay here and can only give Amaria Beach Resort our highest recommendation and will use it again if we come to Santorini again ❤️❤️☀️
Disappointing Stay at a 5-Star Hotel - Unacceptable Lack of Cooling Solutions
Rating: 1/5
I recently had the misfortune of staying at this 5-star hotel, which failed to meet my expectations in a significant way. Despite paying a premium price, the room's air conditioning was not working, making my stay unbearable.
To make matters worse, the hotel staff was unable to provide a satisfactory alternative cooling solution. I requested fans multiple times (at least 10 requests), but they only provided one fan, despite my request for five. This was unacceptable, especially considering the high price point of the hotel.
The hotel's inability to provide a comfortable temperature in the room made my three-night stay unbearable. I was disappointed in the staff's lack of effort to resolve the issue and their unapologetic attitude.
- Non-functional air conditioning in both villas
- Inadequate alternative cooling solutions
- Poor staff response to requests
- Unacceptable for a 5-star hotel
Unless the hotel addresses this issue and provides adequate cooling solutions, I would not recommend it to anyone. For a 5-star hotel, this is a basic expectation that was not met.
Overall, the resort is pleasant and well-maintained. We booked a 2-bedroom suite with a private pool for a 2-night stay. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't clean upon our arrival, with numerous leaves present, making it uninviting. Additionally, the air conditioning in the master bedroom was non-functional throughout our stay. Although the hotel provided two fans, the suite remained uncomfortably warm. The front desk repeatedly apologized, informing us that the issue couldn't be resolved during our visit, which was disappointing given the cost of the suite. As compensation, we received a cheap bottle of white wine, which felt inadequate considering the circumstances. This experience fell short of our expectations, and the hotel could certainly improve in terms of customer satisfaction.
Excellent hotel, brand new, great staff and service, very clean rooms!
The pool and the restaurant were amazing! We stayed at the traditional windmill with the private pool…
They organized a boat trip with catamaran…was the best experience we highly recommended!
We had such a wonderful time at Amaria Beach resort.
The resort is very clean, with modern decoration and very comfortable beds.
We loved the large swimming pool and we also loved that the hotel has beach access.
The staff is very friendly and greet you with a smile. A big thank you to all the staff and especially at George for the great cocktails!
We will certainly be back !
