Vespera City Hotel

A very small hotel we chose because of easy access to the port. Perfect for a short stay.

Room was excellent, staff helpful and breakfast mostly good. We were told "no water every day," when we asked for more bottled water, and one worker elected to clean the cappuccino maker at the beginning of the breakfast period, so "no cappuccino every day," as well!

The view from the room was great, the room was more compact than I expected. The staff were really lovely. The surrounding area, like a lot of Heraklion, was quite run down and lots of buildings falling to bits. The breakfast was nice, the Greek yoghurt was so delicious.

This hotel was exactly as it was described. We had a great experience. As Americans, we felt very comfortable and safe. The hotel staff was awesome and very friendly. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great location in Heraklion!!!

The staff bent over backward to make us feel comfortable. Nothing short of outstanding. Best experience I have had in Greece. Outstanding service, outstanding courtesy and outstanding facility. I believe it should be given a 4 star.

Front desk staff was awesome, so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast included was a nice added touch.

This is a wonderful little boutique hotel. It feels very personal. Rooms are spacious, the bathroom is lovely and modern. The location of the hotel is perfect to walk to the city center, the beach, and museum. Breakfast was yummy.

Paulina,the delightful concierge was incredibly helpful organising laundry taxis and left luggage plus cooking delicious breakfasts.

Perfectly clean, extra convenient location, there is a parking (to pay) very close to the hotel (yet, we were lucky and parked our car on the road). Staff is friendly, the lady who prepares the breakfast is very polite. Brand new hotel.

This is a very small but very clean and well managed hotel. Although near the ferry terminal I would not consider it walking distance unless you are young and not dragging suitcases. The staff are excellent. Friendly and helpful. Our stay included breakfast which we enjoyed. We opted for a partial sea view which was a waste of money. Either pay for the sea view which is pretty good or take a non view room.

This hotel was small but very clean and the service was great. The included breakfast was very nice. It was also easy walking distance to the waterfront and old venetian stuff. It is very close to the Parasties Restaurant which is excellent for local cuisine.

We enjoyed our stay.
