Pros:

Hotel Imlauer is one of my favourite hotels when visiting Vienna, given the excellent location, nice rooms and quietness. Staff is super friendly and forthcoming. I always like to return here.

L’hotel è accogliente e ben curato, con stanze ampie, luminose e impeccabilmente pulite.
La colazione è ricca, varia e di ottima qualità, perfetta per iniziare la giornata. Il personale, sempre molto cortese, disponibile e attento alle esigenze degli ospiti.

La posizione della struttura è davvero strategica: chi ama camminare può raggiungere il centro in circa 15 minuti e, con una piacevole passeggiata, arrivare anche all’Albertina e all’Hofburg. In alternativa, le fermate della metropolitana sono a pochi passi dall’hotel, rendendo gli spostamenti semplici e veloci. Anche il Prater si trova a breve distanza, ideale per trascorrere qualche ora di svago nel pomeriggio.

Nel complesso, una struttura che consiglio vivamente per comfort, posizione e qualità del servizio.

Cons:

Unica piccola nota: le stanze risultavano piuttosto calde. Va però detto che durante il nostro soggiorno a febbraio abbiamo trovato temperature quasi primaverili per essere a Vienna, quindi probabilmente anche questo ha influito

המלון ממש על הרובע היהודי. 4 דקות מבית חב״ד. ובקרבת כל המסעדות הכשרות.
הצוות יודע על הנושא של שמירת שבת ומשאיר את הדלת של המלון פתוחה. בנוסף האדם שנמצא בקבלה פותח את הדלתות של החדרים. תמורה מעולה למחיר!

Siamo stati veramente bene!
Camera piccola ma giusta per due persone, pulita con tutto l'occorrente. Abbiamo preso la colazione a parte perché non compresa nella stanza, ecco per 26 euro a persona mi aspettavo molto di più.
Per il resto area fitness e sauna/bagno turco aperta tutti i giorni.

Cons:

Nowhere to plug in USB chargers for our phones.
Nothing special or personal about our visit. Staff did not seem particularly happy in any role they were undertaking.
Asked for milk for our tea and was told there was some in the mini bar, which there wasn't. One tea bag for us both to share, just two tiny 'creamers'. Cheap, disappointing, perfunctory.
Unfortunately, and this is nothing to do with the hotel, but relates to the surrounding area, there is a lot of graffiti around. There are also highly visible armed military personnel in and around the streets near the hotel. This atmosphere put us both on edge, undermining our visit to the city.
In the city we bought two small ice cream tubs then sat down outside the ice cream shop where we had just bought the tubs. A women came over and said that we could not sit on the seats, even though we had bought our ice cream from that very shop and there were loads of empty seats. We thought this was petty and demeaning, we are both 'seniors' who have spent our working lives in public service, saving lives and helping people in need.
Also, we found on the day of our departure that the subway at Taborstrab did not accept either of our our British credit or debit cards and there was no ticket booth to go to (it had all been 'outsourced' to the machine that didn't work). This was awful as we had a plane to catch. We had to walk with our cases to Praterstern about a kilometer away, where we found the lifts there weren't working!
Although Vienna is an amazing place with very ornate buildings we prefer quieter, less aggressive/dismissive places that are more friendly, caring and helpful. Salzburg was much nicer and our hotel there was excellent, much better in every way (the Leonardo Boutique hotel).

Fantastico
Pros:

Ottima posizione, buonissima colazione. Abbiamo raggiunto il centro a piedi con piacevoli passeggiate.
