Good hotel in a quiet area. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall the stay was pleasant. The location is decent - it took around 20 minutes by taxi to reach the Vienna State Opera.
We are requesting a full refund for this stay because what we experienced bears no resemblance to the standards that a 4-star hotel is expected to provide.
We arrived at around 2:00 a.m. after a long journey, expecting to get a few hours of rest before continuing our trip. Instead, we experienced one of the worst hotel stays we have ever had.
We were unable to use the bathroom at all. There was a strong, foul odor coming from both the sink and the toilet. The bathroom was dirty, with visible mold and ants crawling on the floor. The broken door handle frightened our child so much that she refused to enter the bathroom because she was afraid the door would jam and she would be trapped inside.
The air conditioning did not cool the room and functioned like nothing more than a fan. The room remained extremely hot and stuffy, making it impossible to sleep. After using the air conditioner, we even developed a cough, raising serious concerns about the cleanliness and maintenance of the system.
The entire hotel was unbearably hot and had an unpleasant smell. The restaurant was no different. It was extremely hot, and wasps were flying around the dining area, making it impossible to enjoy a meal.
We genuinely cannot understand how this property has been awarded a 4-star rating. In our opinion, its actual condition does not meet even the basic standards of cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance, and guest comfort, let alone the standards expected of a four-star hotel.
The hotel’s offer of a late check-out until 3:00 p.m. was not a solution to any of these issues. It did not change the dirt, the smell, the unbearable heat, the ineffective air conditioning, the mold, the ants, or the fact that we could not sleep. For that reason, we declined the offer and checked out even earlier than planned because remaining at the hotel for another minute was simply unbearable.
We actually felt more comfortable sitting in our car than staying in the room we had paid for.

The biggest problem is the air conditioning. There is actually no cooling system working at all—only fans. The compressor did not operate, so there was no cold air, and the room remained very warm even at night. We stayed during summer, and the temperature never reached even 23°C. I especially would not recommend it for Arab/Gulf travelers who are used to proper air conditioning. The refrigerator also did not cool properly.
We contacted the hotel and requested a refund for the remaining nights, but they declined and kindly offered us one complimentary breakfast instead.
Also, parking is not free and costs €20 per day.
Overall, a nice hotel, but the lack of proper cooling was a major problem for us.

Das Hotel ist gut ausgestattet und bietet alles für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Gerade als Geschäftsreisender ist ein Tisch und eine vernünftige Sitzgelegenheit im Zimmer wichtig. Beides ist hier gegeben, damit man nach dem Außendiensttag noch seine Arbeiten erledigen kann.
Der Komfort war etwas eingeschränkt, da seit Monaten der zweite Fahrstuhl ausgefallen war. Es gibt keine Treppe in unmittelbarer Nähe, sodass man längere Wartezeiten akzeptieren musste. Das hat den durchweg tollen Eindruck etwas getrübt.
