Süßes Hotel in guter Lage
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels war sehr gut, viele schöne Ecken von Amsterdam sind leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen, und wenn man keine Lust auf Gehen hat, sind Tram und Metro in der Nähe. Der Besitzer des Hotels war sehr nett, man kann drinnen und draußen gemütlich sitzen. Unser Zimmer selbst war klein, aber sehr hübsch und es hat uns nichts gefehlt. Wir können das Hotel nur empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Room was even smaller than expected.
Also we were woken at 3am with an alarm going off. We had no idea what kind of alarm this was so excited the hotel to be safe. There was NO hotel staff to tell us anything, there was no communication at all which is disgraceful. We were freezing cold outside with no one to tell us when it was ok to go back in. Apparently a staff member told my husband that the hotel had phoned one guest to let them know. The person did not tell anyone else, perhaps they did not have the language. But It should not be up to a paying guest to communicate information with other guests. This was a very poor performance and this was a huge issue for me as was clearly both unsafe and unacceptable. I am sure there are fire/safety regulations that you must adhere to but there was no proper procedure, communication or assistance.
