Nagyon szép helyen lévő szálloda. Partoldalban van, csodálatos panorámát kap, ez a szobánkból is látszódott.. A szoba jó felszereltségű, kényelmes, ott aludtunk a legjobban. A vacsora, és az étkezések csodálatos panorámája.. A tisztaság és a személyzet teljesen rendben volt.
A reggeli eléggé várakozáson aluli volt. A medence nagyon kicsi, mindösszesen 6 db napágy van körülötte, és ezek állandóan foglaltak voltak. A folyosón benzin szag van mindig, nem tudtuk mitől.

I expected a higher standard from a hotel that markets itself as a 5-star property, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing.
The food was quite ordinary and did not meet 5-star expectations. The breakfast selection was average, the coffee options were very limited, and it was disappointing that plain drinking water was not included. Instead, the juices served were quite watery and lacked quality. The breakfast napkins also did not appear to be clean, which was concerning from a hygiene perspective.
Service was also slow. I reported that the iron in my room was faulty and requested a replacement, but despite the request, it never arrived.
There were also maintenance issues. The air conditioning unit developed a noticeable vibrating noise, making the sleep very uncomfortable. The TV remote was also inconvenient, as it only worked when I was standing very close to the television.
The facilities were underwhelming. There is no gym, and the swimming pool is very small and does not reflect the standards expected of a 5-star hotel.
Overall, while the hotel has potential, it falls short of delivering a genuine 5-star experience. Better maintenance, more attentive staff and service, improved breakfast quality, higher standards of cleanliness, and a more guest-friendly approach would significantly enhance the overall stay.
Overall, me and my mum had a good stay here. We were given a very friendly welcome, the rooms are lovely and have amazing views, and the pool is incredible (although too cold!). The breakfast at this hotel was really incredible - probably the best breakfast I had in my two weeks in Sri Lanka. It’s served on the 2nd floor (a separate restaurant to the one on the rooftop). The view from the breakfast area is also incredible (see photo). I liked the staff, particularly one man at the front desk (his name began with R but unfortunately I can’t remember the rest of it!)
The hotel is let down by the restaurant on the rooftop. I ordered the rice and curry which came out cold, I then asked for it to be heated up, and so the waiter took it all away and returned five minutes later, with another set of rice and curries, all still cold. Felt like a bit of a joke and I didn’t bother asking again - I would have understood this a bit more were the restaurant very busy but it was only us and two other tables at the time. My mum ordered the grilled tiger prawns which were just under 9000 rupees which were also served cold, she doesn’t like to complain though so ate them as they were. Having then read the google reviews it sounds like previous guests have had food poisoning from this restaurant, so if I were to go back I would avoid eating here.
Breakfast with a view!
Mooi grote hotelkamer voorzien van de belangrijkste benodigdheden. Het hotel licht net buiten de drukte van de stad met als voordeel de rust. Op enkele minuten rijden zit je in de stad om de bezienswaardigheden te bezoeken. Het uitzicht tijdens het ontbijt/avondeten is fantastisch.
Het inchecken duurde relatief lang (+/- 20min), wat meestal veel sneller gaat. Ook hadden een kamer vlak boven het zwembad en restaurant. Hierdoor hadden we geluid bij het avondeten/ontbijt.

The swimming pool was very nice and the view was amazing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Also the rooftop bar is amazing.
It might be a bit expensive. There are also not many touristy things to do in Kandy.

La habitación muy confortable, con vistas muy bonitas. Tenía una terraza desde la que se veía el lago al fondo. Todos los días nos traían 3 botellas de agua a la habitación. El baño nos gustó mucho, con una ducha con cristal a través del cual se veían también todos los alrededores.
La pisicina del hotel me la esperaba más grande y con más zona de luz, pero al estar en una planta intermedia está casi cubierta por techo, solo caben 3 o 4 hamacas en la terraza de la misma. Esperaba que se viese más el lago, solo se ve un ladito. Aún así, nos gustó.

Kvalita personálu na Root baru, nesprávné nesrvirovano, nedodržení receptury jídel, personálu nedoleval vino, výpadky v nápojové listku, oplachac na prsty a pecivo přinesli až po jídle.

Great bedroom, with stunning views towards Temple of the Tooth. Staff were excellent as was the food
Slightly out of town, which meant a walk down a steep bank. Otherwise everything was first class
Room was very comfortable and clean. Beautiful pool. Lovely staff who were all very helpful
Lots of fumes in the surrounding area which took away from pool experience slightly. Meal at the hotel restaurant was very poor (seafood pasta).
