Arrived Nice reception .
Had to move room because we could hear A/C unit from next room which was sorted promptly and professionally.

Both the rooftop bar and infinity pool were standout features of the hotel. Vistas were amazing

Sehr schöne Dachterrasse und schöner Ausblick vom Balkon. Frühstücksbuffet sehr sehr gut, Abendessen auch lecker.
Zimmer teils nicht ganz so sauber und ordentliche Abnutzung sichtbar.
The rooftop bar
The food quality for a supposed 5 star hotel falls well short of the mark. The room is “tired” curtains don’t close fully. Cup mark rings in the furniture. Didn’t have a selection of coffee available for breakfast. We had a do not disturb sign on our door but the staff still rang us at 0920hrs to ask if we were coming to breakfast, we wanted a lie in!
In our opinion this is at best a 3 star hotel based on other hotels in Sri Lanka which we stayed at.

I found the TV in the restaurant an unnecessary distraction and took away from the atmosphere of the room.

We found the Sky lounge was very hit & miss.
If you were close to the bar, service was good but in the dining area very poor.they would walk past tables with used plates on and just leave them.
The cook the food downstairs and sent up just does not work especially when you have a dining room.
We found that when the food made it upstairs to you in the Sky Bar it was warm at best. Its not top quality food its only average .

the sever come and serve us and ask what we drink, coffee or tea. we ordered cappuccino and iced americano. She did not told us this was extra charged. until we finished the breakfast and back to room. and after that we going to check out, the receptionist showed us the bill and we were totally shocked as we don’t know there was the charges!
We complaint why did not told us at first. The sever came at reception and said she did. The guy seems like the manager said that they will not show the price list unless we need to ask for.
But the problem is we did not even know it is not included in the breakfast, if we did we will not order as it is totally not necessary for us to have coffee.
it was just a small amount but not necessary and in the hidden situation.
it was a shame and we did not have the pleasant stay at the end by this awful experience.
Please be careful what have you consume here.
Pool und Aussicht, Balcone waren sehr schön gestaltet
We really loved this place. Clean, big room, amazing view. The buffet for breakfast and dinner was extremely tasty, a lot of options, also for vegetarian people. The staff was very welcoming. We used the laundry service and our clothes were ready after one day. We would really recommend it.
