We had an excellent stay at a great hotel - a pleasant lake-side walk from the Sri Dalada Meligawa (Tooth Relic Temple)
Pros:

We liked everything - the staff, the food, the accommodation and the location

Cons:

Be carful to check your bookings they may cancel last minute.
Pros:

Didn’t get to stay they cancelled our booking the in the middle of the night with one saying it was my card and a message saying they were fully booked after booking was made 3 months prior. They said it was a glitch in the system but the reasoning didn’t make sense. I was then offered my original booked room as good will? Not sure how when they were fully booked!

Cons:

They cancelled my booking with short notice see above.

Pros:

The room was spacious,clean and well maintained.The breakfast spread had varieties and was good.

Cons:

The aircond was not working when we checked in and we had to make multiple calls and wait a long time for the technician to come and check the aircond. Though they eventually moved us into a new room, it wasn't a great experience and we didn't appreciate the long wait.

Decent hotel with good view to the lake
Pros:

Awesome location right next to the lake and short walk to the city and temple of the tooth.

Cons:

Carpets and couch are stained, can definitely use a deep clean. Bathroom is rusty and ran down. The soap holder is falling apart.

Schönes Hotel im Zentrum von Kandy, nur einen 15-minütigen Spaziergang vom Zahntempel entfernt. In der Nähe gibt es auch ein Einkaufszentrum und viele kleine Geschäfte und Restaurants. Das Personal ist freundlich, engagiert und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer hatte eine schöne Größe, im Badezimmer könnte man vielleicht die eine oder andere Fuge erneuern, aber ansonsten war alles gepflegt und sauber. Das Frühstück bot eine große Auswahl, auch an lokale Speisen, das Abendessen (4-Gänge-Menü mit Salat, Suppe, Fisch und Obstteller) war ebenfalls großartig. Besonders begeistert waren wir von den leckeren (und sehr preiswerten) Mocktails - wir haben gleich einen zweiten bestellt :-)

Cons:

Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass das Hotel an einer stark befahrenen Straße liegt, durch den Lärm und die Abgase war der Balkon daher nicht nutzbar. Das wussten wir aber bereits im vorhinein, für uns war es kein Problem.

Pleasant night in kandy
Pros:

Very modern comfortable hotel. The room we had was very nice. Extra large bed, Lakeview. short walk into town. Flat.

Cons:

The restaurant looks good but they did not serve any alcohol. we like to have a wine or beer with our meal. Breakfast was good but not great. The pastries pretty old and dry. The other stuff was ok.
