Cons:

Boking com was showing half board at booking time but when I checked in its only B&B ? So it should be clear when u are booking, I don't know whether booking. Com, was fooling the customer or not?

Pros:

Staff was super nice and helpful. Room was pretty clean and had everything you could need. Lake view balcony was nice, even tho most of the view was blocked by the trees. Whole city reachable by foot or tuk tuks waiting nearby.

Nice hotel, lacks alcahol in bar.
Pros:

Well kept property just outside the centre of Kandy. Nice room with comfy bed.

Cons:

No alcohol in bar. Had to cross very busy road in the rain to walk into Kandy.

Schönes Stadthotel in super Lage
Pros:

Schönes Stadthotel mit großem und sauberem Zimmer, es sind nur ein paar Gehminuten ins Zentrum. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und auch das Restaurant war super, Essen sehr lecker und die Portionen waren sehr groß.

Cons:

Im zugehörigen Restaurant gibt es keinen Alkohol, aber ausgezeichnete alkoholfreie Cocktail - daher war mir das egal, aber für einige ist es vllt. wichtig.
Leider ist direkt vor dem Hotel eine Hauptstraße, die je nach Tageszeit manchmal nicht so einfach zu überqueren ist, da dort zum Teil viel Verkehr herrscht und es keine Ampel oder so gibt.

We had an excellent stay at a great hotel - a pleasant lake-side walk from the Sri Dalada Meligawa (Tooth Relic Temple)
Pros:

We liked everything - the staff, the food, the accommodation and the location

Be carful to check your bookings they may cancel last minute.
Pros:

Didn’t get to stay they cancelled our booking the in the middle of the night with one saying it was my card and a message saying they were fully booked after booking was made 3 months prior. They said it was a glitch in the system but the reasoning didn’t make sense. I was then offered my original booked room as good will? Not sure how when they were fully booked!

Cons:

They cancelled my booking with short notice see above.

Pros:

The room was spacious,clean and well maintained.The breakfast spread had varieties and was good.

Cons:

The aircond was not working when we checked in and we had to make multiple calls and wait a long time for the technician to come and check the aircond. Though they eventually moved us into a new room, it wasn't a great experience and we didn't appreciate the long wait.

Decent hotel with good view to the lake
Pros:

Awesome location right next to the lake and short walk to the city and temple of the tooth.

Cons:

Carpets and couch are stained, can definitely use a deep clean. Bathroom is rusty and ran down. The soap holder is falling apart.
