What a truly beautiful house! It was magnificent. And the facilities were excellent. Host Michael kindly gave us a tour of the house on arrival. There was a well-equipped full kitchen and laundry area for general use, and a beautiful sunroom eating area. Bed was comfy, good shower, plenty of toiletries. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely old heritage house beautifully restored and designed immaculately. Bonus that it’s surrounded by lovely trees, gives a peacefulness to the stay
Walls seem thin as we could hear people in the next room talking, and kid(s) making loud noises at night.
Absolutely wonderful stay here! The accommodation is incredibly comfortable and cozy. The host is such a warm, kind and friendly person, making me feel welcomed and at home right away. The location is perfect and very convenient for everything—transportation, dining and sightseeing are all within easy reach. I really enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend this place to anyone!

THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY CHARMING HOME RUN BY MICHAEL AND SUSAN. ALTHOUGH NOT A B&B ATHEY DO PROIVDE CEREAL AND TOAST. UBERS CAME WITHIN 4 MINUTES EVERY TIME AND IT WAS JUST A SHORT TRIP TO TOWN AND WATER. WE LOVED THIS PLACE AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Excellent location, quiet, lovely rooms with high ceilings in a gracious heritage mansion renovated to reflect the 1900s era.

Loved the character of the home and the staff. Our room had its own private entrance and the breakfast room was gorgeous.
Property was very well cared for but definitely had a bit of wear. The shower in the Orchid room could use a new shower head.

Not much space to get out of bed in the night
The staff were very pleasant. The property is a lovely old building with a pretty garden and nice areas to sit outside. Our room was spacious with a very nice bathroom.
Our room had a part glazed exterior door with no curtain to keep light out. The plumbing from the room above ran through the wall behind the bed and sounded like a waterfall when the occupiers had showers at 1.30am. These problems were specific to our room and other rooms in the property are probably much better. We had a genius complimentary breakfast but there wasn’t a breakfast really provided apart from some cereal. There was stuff in the kitchen fridge but this seemed to belong to other guests eg half consumed loaves and half consumed soft spreads and jars of jam.
