Good facility, pity about the noise
Pros:

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable - apart from the apparent total lack of acoustic insulation - and clean

Cons:

Our dormitory was above the restaurant/bar/party area. The sound level of music was always relatively high in the entrance/downstairs area and unfortunately filtered through to the dormitory so there appeared to be little sound insulation between the 2 areas. On the evening we stayed there there was an event in the downstairs area led by a DJ which was very loud and continued until 2pm. The noise and base level was so high that our whole dormitory room including our beds shook and it was completely impossible to get any rest. Hence the discrepancy between my overall and individual facility ratings. It’s a shame because otherwise the the hostel was very good but wild horses wouldn’t get me back there and I can’t recommend it.

Pros:

Eins der besten Hostels, modern, sauber, gut ausgestattet, einfach top.

Cons:

Es ist ein bisschen teurer als die anderen, dafür lohnt es sich.

Pros:

Rooms were clean, public areas were clean, lots of space to sit and chill

Cons:

The kitchen is too small for the amount of beds so it was often quite messy at the peak times.
Showers were too small and some didn't have doors so everything was covered in water

Pros:

Eine gute Adresse hauptsächlich für junge Leute. Drifter bietet viel drumherum, wie z. B. ein Abendessen für 5 NZD oder ein meeting mit Snacks und Freigetränk.
Auch in einem 8er-Zimmer hat man noch seine Privatsphäre.

Cons:

Man muss absolut "handyconform" sein um z. B. die Türen zu öffnen. Nachdem das bei mir nicht immer geklappt hat, bekam ich doch noch eine Öffnungskarte.

Practical stay
