Vilas Insight Hotel Machupicchu

Great place to stay and quiet.

For the price is excellent! Very close to everything, the breakfast was delicious and a lot. Our room smell a bit musty but we did not mind because it was going to be only for two night.

The hotel had Netflix, nice helpful staff, and a good bathroom. The only challenge was it was easy to hear other people in hotel and those outside, which unfortunately were loud at like 2 or 4 am.

The staff was excellent, friendly, accommodating and happy. There where a few minor issues when we arrived but they were soon addressed to my satisfaction. Comfy beds, hot shower, good wifi. Centrally located, a short walk from the train station and near dozens of restaurants, shops and bars. A good value.

I would gladly give it 5 stars! The room was spotless. There was hot water and heat! The Lomo Saltado made by the hotel restaurant was amazing. The location was away from the city center. Overall, this hotel provided a great experience, and I look forward to returning.

The only part that I didn’t like was the early check out at 9 am. We had to pay extra money to stay until 11 am, but everything else was perfect!

Had bagged breakfast for us when we had to leave before the breakfast area opened.
Good location.
Had one very small heater in the room that did not give much heat. Did have extra blankets available in the room.

Kept our bags for the day while we walked about town.

A great place to stay! Breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was attentive and available 24/7. I highly recommend!

Box breakfast provided was not good. Fruit was not fresh and the bread was the cheapest bread one could buy. My advice is to upgrade these box lunches because for many it is the last impression of the hotel.

Located in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo) this is a great place to stay if you are planning on going to visit Machu Picchu, it is a 1 hour 30 minute hike to the park entrance, the bus to park is less then 5 minutes away, the hotel itself is clean cold water in sink hot water shower, breakfast is served every day from 6am till 9am before that 4am to 6am you can request bag lunch, there are several restaurants nearby, it is located about 1/4 mile up hill from town square the village it self is lovely many markets and shops. I went in the middle of June and the weather was very good. The hot springs and waterfall entrance is a 7 minute walk. ticket office to Machu Picchu is less then 5minutes away must go day before for tickets.

It’s everything you need in your stay. It was a nice place to stay at during our Machupicchu trip. Front desk was helpful. Room was clean.

the girl at the front was nice. she offered a lot of help for machu picchu and aguas callientes. the hotel itself in any other city would be considered below average, but for aguas callientes it’s definitely a good one.

As fotos geraram uma expectativa que não foi correspondida. Considerando o preço, o café da manhã podria ser bem melhor.

O quarto que fiquei era muito confortável, entretanto o aquecimento não funcionava. Apesar de ter falado duas vezes sobre o assunto na recepção, só no meu último dia é que foram ao quarto para então dizer que funcionava, mas quase não aquecia. A receptividade do hotel é muito ruim, ao pegar uma água mineral na recepção numa geladeira que ficava a disposição, como não tinha ninguém resolvi pegar e depois avisar para pagar no check-out. Então subi e cinco minutos desci para mais uma vez falar sobre a questão do aquecimento. Avisei sobre a água e perguntei se pagaria no check-out. A recepcionista respondeu que o pagamento deveria ser imediatamente, tive que subir dois lances de escada para pagar 3,50 soles pela água e continuei sem aquecimento. A limpeza também não foi feita. Não me hospedaria lá novamente.
