The Abstract Hotel is an inner city gem!
Pros:

The Abstract is a classy boutique hotel amongst a plethora of sterile, high rise, chain-hotel options. The common areas were elegant and inviting, and the rooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. Every detail has been considered, right down to the kiwiana jet planes and jaffas at reception. Excellent options for late check out too!

Love Abstract. Its funky and different. We have stayed here several times

Geschmackvoll, gute Lage, nettes Personal, sehr gutes Frühstück
Cons:

Leider klickt im Zimmer alle 20 Sekunden eine Sicherung in einem Sicherungskasten. Nicht laut aber für empfindliche Ohren etwas nervig.

Good for a short stay
Pros:

Good location and rooms were tidy, and looked nice. Overall a pleasant stay, and the front desk were nice as well.

Cons:

Rooms were quite cramped, the bed being in a nook in the room meant that it was difficult to fit 2 people. It also got quite warm and stuffy in the rooms.

Great location event at the domain. Room layout was good with 2Bedroom 2 bath. Very clean

Cons:

Aircon not functioning so it was very hot and being by k road too noisy to leave window open. Bathroom very small. No parking or check in bay for car

Great location but with no air con, not somewhere we could relax or sleep.
Pros:

The location was very central. You can walk into Ponsonby/Queen St easily. Otherwise you can bus or uber no problem

Cons:

No air con! It was so hot that it was really hard to sleep. It was much hotter inside the room then being outside to hotel, so it was uncomfortable to spend time in the room unless you needed to. Sadly, this really affected what would othewise have been an enjoyable trip and took away from a Hotel that was in all otherways fantastic.
I saw the Hotel responded to this saying there is a fan.. there was, but it did not make a difference, and was noisy to have going all night. I would stay here doing winter anytime, but not in summer.
