Amazing view, great bed, great facilities in the room, and location to the NZICC. Honestly couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

The walkway from sky city to Horizon not working took long to get it open. For staff to come and open.

Stunning views and excellent service
The Horizon stay started with being made to feel welcome by friendly staff. The entrance into the building revealed a stunning interior design which made the stay feel extra special. The room was luxurious & the beds were inviting, comfy & I loved the fancy bedding. The sky walk way joining The Horizon to Sky City made access quick & easy to the casino & restaurants.
We stayed at Horizon by SkyCity for my boyfriend’s birthday and had such a lovely experience. The hotel felt very clean, fresh, and new, and the location was perfect. Our room also had a really good view, which made the stay even more special. We loved the complimentary coffee sachets and tea provided in the room, and the hotel staff also left us a sweet message and small gifts for the birthday celebration, which was such a thoughtful touch.
For the parking, we parked at SkyCity and simply crossed the bridge to get to the hotel, which was super convenient. We also had dinner at Orbit 360, which made the stay extra special. Since we dined there, our parking was free — we just let the hotel reception know and they sorted it out for us easily.

Parking at sky city is free if you spend minimum of $40 at many of the vendors there....the hotel staff didnt seem to be aware of this and tried twice to get me to pay for parking even though I told them about this offer. They seemed surprised when I said restaurant staff would validate my parking ticket for me and instead encouraged me to come back to the hotel (after spending money at Federal for breakfast) to validate my ticket (which I would have been charged for).
