Pros:

The rooms are well designed and tasteful. The bed was very comfortable and spacious. We had enough room for our suitcases. The location is awesome, close to loads of great restaurants.

Cons:

Paying for parking. It would be great to have a special deal all year round that parking is free if you spend money at Skycity.

Comfortable but not outstanding
Pros:

The location was great

Cons:

The room had no view to speak of, even in a Vantage room (level 4), the room was not serviced daily unless requested and this was
not communicated on check in, and on a weekend in Auckland with two international events, the bar closer at 9:30 and we including others were unable to order a nightcap other than in our rooms under room service.

Great hotel good location - expensive and inconvenient to park next door
Pros:

Great rooms with good modern facilities, clean , large and well appointed

Cons:

Paid parking in a different location.
Restaurant staff for dinner on one occasion walked past me to group of others and told me to sit and wait while he took them to a table, i subsequently left as was not going to accept that terrible service. (Other front desk and restaurant staff were good)

Always exceeds my expectations
Pros:

The Horizon Hotel Auckland remains my home away from home. Its immaculate rooms and exceptional service teams, reflect the empathy and grace set by Operations Manager Perry Chan - evident from the beautiful dining experiences at 'The Grill' to the reception teams and service staff. I would do it all over again!!!👍
Pros:

Never had the chance to have breakfast but the dinner at the grill was absolutely amazing guaranteed 100% perfection loved every single meal I ordered.Staff was absolutely awesome, it was all worth it no matter the cost.
