The bed was very comfortable.
I thought it was ensuite but it wasnt. Heating wasnt working but relectric heater was good.
The chap who came to the door was really helpful. He didn't know who we were to make a phone call in his native language and was assured that we were okay to be there about the whole thing was so poorly managed. We were meant to be staying in Redcar. We were practically in Middlesbrough the place was very untidy. Marks on the walls are very small. Peter, in the room kitchen was very unclean. We were giving a knife fork and a spoon and an old towel each
We were informed the morning we were travelling to the property that our room wasn't available. We were given an alternative accommodation which was atrocious really bad The accommodation was totally unsuitable for our holiday at the area outside had boarded up properties and was in a very rough area for really uncertain to leave the car outside with all our belongings. We've decided to find somewhere else and didn't stay there. Don't bother trying to get your money back because booking.com really don't care
Easy access
Overpriced for what you get, staff forced photos to he taken of me and partner before entry. Harassed parter just for smiling, overall bad experience paid for more than what I actually got
The lady Janet was so welcoming
Their was Nothing I never liked
The lady who worked there was really nice she made us feel very welcome
Everything was broken in one way or another I enjoyed my stay but the door was hard to lock the toilets made a loud noise and woke everyone up when it was flushed and everything just looked very worn out and old. Booking.com said there was free breakfast and free parking and there wasn't and the mattress cover was riped.
I was very disappointed the place needed updating. Reception was swearing the f word while checking in. And was told they was park which they wasn’t so had to pay for parking. Wouldn’t recommend at all. Want a refund.
Everything
I didn't like anything about the stay
I didn't like the fact they was no parking at the property so I had to park my car 10-15 mins away cost me £12 for parking. The room was freezing the heating was broken mattress was terrible. The room was dirty
Then being sold i have to pay £25 extra to check in to the room. My room door lock was broken no one around to tell.
The hotel was comfy and warm and lady is as great
Loved everything
It was nice & local to all amenities
Nothing really just the pillow was a bit hard for me & no coffee or tea making facilities that’s
Very dated…smelly rooms was more like a half way
House,no parking either as stated on booking.com
Very very noisy also paper thin walls could
hear people taking in the next room all nite!.
Needs drastically upgraded and refurbished.
Location
False advertising,
Condition of property awful
Should not be on Booking.com
Area is in a good location for the beach and shopping area
No where to park, there is a big car park at the rear of the property which is charged until 6pm it is free on a Sunday so thats a bit of a bonus staying on a Saturday Night. Kettle and cups in the room but no tea bags or coffee like all other places, the bed wasn't comfy at all, no hot water in the room albeit there is a sink. Pillows were sweat stained and handles falling off the furniture. Bathroom is a short walk away but floors creaking. And if you flush the toilet during the night it makes an awful sound which would no doubt wake other people during the night.
The receptionist was lovely, and the hotel was very clean. Unfortunately customers have to knock on the door to be allowed in after a late night. I get the sense that this is because it is also a hostel, also the bathroom has to be shared, as there are no en-suite facilities.
Having no en-suite shower and toilet, and having to knock to be admitted.
Also, I think the receptionist needs another employee there part time to help with the cleaning etc.
The Roomm was good and comfortable met my needs the staff questionable so i will leave it there!

It was awful. They advertised free parking this was not the case. We ended up paying over £10 for parking. Janet, was lovely but the place had no adequate heating. No heating in the bathroom. The whole building reeked of cigarette smoke and random individuals barged in the front door for a place to stay. They appeared to perhaps be squatters, oh my gosh, it was awful. It was so bad that we have ended up ill due to the lack of heating. I would like to know how I would go about applying for a refund? I will be speaking to my solicitors about this also. You simply cannot treat people this way. We paid for a advertised service and it was not delivered. Terrible and I will never stay there again!
