Highly Recommend this Hotel. The outside might not look nice but inside is a Marriot
The Good:
• The room with the Pyramid view is incredible—probably the best view I’ve ever had in a hotel room.
• Staff are friendly and attentive. Mostafa was especially great.
• Excellent location, close to the Pyramids, restaurants, and shops.
The Bad:
• The internet is horrible. Definitely not a place for digital nomads. Even booking tours online was a struggle.
FYI (Not good or bad):
• The hotel and surrounding area are a bit run down. It might look unsafe at first, but I felt safe the entire time.
• The condition of the hotel didn’t bother us—we didn’t book the Hilton, and this is Egypt.
• Nothing is free in Egypt. For example, a hotel worker helped me find a money exchange and then asked for a tip.
Overall:
I’d definitely recommend this hotel if you’re on a budget and want to stay close to the Pyramids—especially if you book the room with the Pyramid view.
The hotel was brilliantly positioned with uninterrupted views of the pyramids. We had the room on the third floor and it was so perfect, the hot tub was nice and the balcony views were great. The breakfast they delivered was always delicious and the staff were great and organised an awesome and well priced tour for us as well.
The hotel is close to the gates to the Sphinx, a large amount of horses and camels line up here before they open so there can be some animal smells on the balcony occasionally but it was never strong and never bothered us at all, I’d constantly forget the animals were there until they made a noise.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone for the incredible service and views… unbeatable!
Give an aspect of Egypt, next to the pyramids!
Cant get any closer to the pyramids, amazing location and the view is spectacular.
The staff were very good i would highly recommend this hotel for a real egyptian experience.
Nice
It was amazing how close to the pyramids it was so it offered great views from the nice rooftop deck and balcony for our room! We could see and hear the light show at night. The area has a lot of little shops and food places all walking distance. Check in and out was very easy. They were very accommodating and provided coffee in the mornings before our tours. Very unique place and it was clean and modern. Great customer service we are very thankful for their hospitality and would stay there again!
Mohammed was very helpful and attentive. The terrace room was very nice we could have breakfast while looking at the pyramids. However the very last day something did go missing from my room I would recommend to always keep your things put away. Other than this one experience our stay was wonderful
Owner/staff friendly helpful
No replacement towels despite asking. WiFi spotty in room
The staff was very friendly and always tried to provide us with everything we needed. The view of the pyramids was awesome! I really enjoyed our stay there.
Great location for the Giza Pyramids, do be aware that it is located around and above the stables used for horses and camels on the plateau.
The staff here are so friendly and trying to provide us everything. The location is perfect and you can enjoy the pyramid from your balcony. But the room is a little bit small.
If you are looking for one of the best views possible, I highly advise this place. We felt so welcome by the staff during the entire time. Would say that the 1 minute walk “to” hotel could be better lol How ever that has nothing to do with the property. I enjoyed my birthday here from the breathe taking viewes to watching the camels in the morning jusr made it even that better. Would stay again , the AC was cold just like you will want and it was very clean , with unique local vibes. They also helped us book our camel trip to the pyramids, our tour guide was amazing and the camels had fun tops Thank you Capitol staff, Shakron!
Very good hotel with an incredible location. Waking up and watching the pyramids is something else! Would recommend to anyone going to Egypt!
I was not expecting too much but what I received was worse. My room imitated a cell with an opaque window that had hidden a a roof top with dirty and rubbish and view of a brick wall. The room had an air of being dirty. I was so not impressed I decided to spend time away from this hotel as much as possible. My suit I booked 11 days at this hotel as a base camp and though I was closer to Cairo than I actually was, the map I saw looked a lot closer.
The breakfast isn’t pleasant and only ate the chips and omelette and orange drink of some description. My drink arrived yesterday and I count 24 small flies in the drink.
The hotel has ripped me off charging me at least double for excursions with them with an in on legal tour guide who spoke limited English. I paid less with a professional tour guide a history teach and a driver with a nice car in Luxor. I costed the trips with other hotels next to this one and confirmed they have robbed me. I asked about proses for tours with out explaining that I have already be taken.
The hotel was that bad I decided to take a trip to Luxor and stay for three days and 2 nights in Alexander to escape this hotel. The hotel in Luxor was cheaper and 10 times the hotel this one is and I had a clean room, with a balcony.
I booked a cheap hotel to make my sludge go further yet this hotel is responsible for blowing my budget and making it really hard for me to balance my finances and in essence ruined my trip. Expedia no help.
The room I was in and the upstairs rooftop have a view of pyramids. The location is very hectic, shall we say. Room met basic needs, make sure you have your own toiletries.
An amazing experience. Friendly staff and lovely Egyptian smiling kind faces. Clean, neat & very affordable.
I’ll come back again and again!
Excellent value for the price! The property was clean and updated and within <10 minute walking distance to the entrance of Giza complex. The room and rooftop have perfect views of the pyramids and the Sphinx. Mohamed, the owner/host was welcoming, approachable and very responsive to questions and concerns. Breakfast was so worth it, tasty and generous. Laundy service was a huge plus! I booked most tours through the hotel. So much cheaper than the ones I found online. Even though the property is in Giza, it is still very accessible to all that Cairo/Greater Cairo has to offer.
