Tawila Island Resort

Rundum eine tolle Anlage für Menschen, die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen, mit einem Meer wie auf den Malediven vor der Haustüre. Transfer nur per Boot 1mal am Tag (ca. 90 Min. ab El Gouna). Super eingerichtete Bungalows. Schöner Pool mit Bar. Viel Privatsphäre auf den Liegen am Strand. Abwechslungsreiches Frühstücksbuffet. Gute Küche am Abend mit leider etwas kleiner Karte. Ideal zum Schnorcheln direkt am Strand mit kleinen Korallenriffen mit Dutzenden von farbigen Fischen.

On vient de passer deux jours sur l’île de tawila dans cet hôtel. On est déçue de l’expérience que l’on a pu avoir.

Si ce n’était pas un hôtel 5 étoiles à ce prix là je ne me serai pas permise ce commentaire mais voici notre retour :

Le personnel ne parle vraiment pas bien anglais, beaucoup d’erreur dans les commandes et sur les réponses à nos questions.

On nous a dit que la chambre serait décoré vu que c’est un voyage de noces au final ils ont oublié on a dû leur rappeler pour le faire, ils ont aussi oublié de nous mettre les fruits et le gâteau dans la chambre que l’on a jamais eu.
Les chambres avec la vue coucher de soleil ne sont pas vraiment coucher de soleil de plus ils ont y a du vis à vis. Donc si vous pouvez demander les chambres côté soleil levant c’est un peu mieux.

La piscine du bungalow n’est pas bien nettoyer (bords noires).

Personnellement je n’ai pas très bien mangé souvent très salé. La carte des cafés n’est pas disponible à part trois boissons classiques.
Mais l’île est magnifique et elle a du potentiel. La literie et les produits d’hygiène sont incroyables.

Si on oublie le prix et les services que nous n’avons pas eu le plaisir d’avoir c’est un bon séjour.

Absolutely beautiful and relaxing

Séjour exceptionnel sur une île paradisiaque. Nous avions choisi un bungalow sur pilotis : vue incroyable, confort absolu, chambre propre et joliment décorée. Le personnel était d’une grande gentillesse, toujours souriant et très attentionné. Le restaurant était bon, même si le choix des plats pourrait être un peu plus varié. Une expérience à revivre sans hésitation !

Besuch im März 2025. Beach-Bungalow. 6 Nächte. Schöne Überfahrt mit dem Boot vom Hotel organisiert (ca. 90 Minuten, jeweils nur 1mal pro Tag, 10 Uhr hin, 13.00 Uhr zurück). Sehr angenehmer Empfang. Die Hotelanlage war praktisch leer. Sehr schöne Anlage, mit Pool, Pool-Bar, zwei Restaurants, toller Strand mit wundervollem Meer, mit kleinen Riffen mit Korallen und bunten Fischen. Das Bungalow ist top eingerichtet, mit schönem Sitzplatz und privaten Liegen am Strand und Aussendusche. Herrliche Aussicht auf Strand und Meer. Viel Ruhe und Entspannung. Mehr Hänger im Bad für Handtücher wäre toll. Personal ist sprachlich in Englisch oft nicht so gewandt, was die Kommunikation erschwert und zu Missverständnissen führt. Karte Abendessen ist eher klein, was bei einem längeren Aufenthalt schwierig werden könnte. Grosse Portionen! Mit wenigen, kleinen Kritikpunkten ein perfekter Aufenthalt mit sehr gutem Service.

Getting to the island:
El Gonna Marina - you’ll be taken to a local boat where they will take you to the island. The duration is 1h45 mins on boat. It’s super relaxing and stunning to ride watching the kite surfers, the clear reef and the excitement builds up!

Check in:
As you arrive on the island, the staff take your bags and you are transported on a golf cart to the lobby. We had a warm welcome and were given a mocktail drink.

TIP: They do not have alcohol, so please bring your own. We packed a bottle of Ciroc in our suitcase. They are happy for you to bring your own.

Room 1007: Water bungalow had a stunning view of the beach and the rest of the resort. I don’t want to spoil the experience but it was a stunning room. All the rooms on the right side are the sunset view rooms.

As it was extremely quiet, the staff were kind enough to allow us to order from the restaurant menu and eat it in our room. They do have a normal room service menu . Feel free to ask if you can request from restaurant menu. The sea bass was excellent! Overall really good food!

The island is still developing and will aim to open up a dive and snorkelling centre this year.

They have a gym and a pool which we did not have time to use.

This place is The Maldives of Egypt. Absolutely stunning.

We also had a chance to go to the Presidential Suite - beautiful! However I prefer the water bungalows as the bedroom is spacious.

I would highly recommend coming here!
