Review Title: Extremely Unprofessional Behavior and Misleading Booking Experience
I booked a room through Booking.com because I had an important professional exam scheduled from 9:15 AM to 2:30 PM. My intention was very clear. I needed a quiet place with reliable electricity and internet so I could attempt the exam without interruption.
Before arriving, I personally called the hotel and spoke with the manager. I informed him that I would arrive around 7:00 AM after Fajr prayer and check out at 3:00 PM. The manager acknowledged this and did not raise any issue at that time.
The next day, I arrived at the hotel with my brother. The situation quickly became unpleasant. The staff member at the reception asked for CNIC. I provided my brother’s CNIC, but he refused it and demanded my CNIC in a very rude and disrespectful tone. The conversation then turned into an argument when he claimed that my brother could not stay with me because the room was for one person only.
This statement was completely incorrect. I showed him my booking confirmation email from Booking.com, which clearly stated “1 room, 2 adults.” Despite seeing this, he continued to behave in an unprofessional manner.
The situation escalated when he suddenly demanded PKR 6,000 for the room. My confirmed booking price was PKR 2,000 plus approximately PKR 320 tax. I asked him to contact the manager and verify the booking. Instead of resolving the issue, he arbitrarily reduced the demand and said “Okay, make it PKR 5,000.”
This clearly indicated that the price was being manipulated on the spot. I firmly refused and told him I would only pay the confirmed booking amount. The staff continued their rude behavior and made no effort to resolve the issue professionally.
Because of their conduct and the uncertainty they created, I had no choice but to leave the hotel immediately and find another place to take my exam.
Honestly, I am thankful I did not arrive just minutes before my exam.

Ohhhh ...stay was amazing so comfartable and lavish, I will strongly recommend it as its providing friendly environment, staff was responsible and every service which hotel was providing was outclass.

I recently stayed 4 September at hotel royal grand and had a thoroughly disappointing experience. The hotel charged me double the amount I was initially quoted, which was shocking and unacceptable. To make matters worse, the staff's behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I tried to discuss the issue with them, they showed no willingness to listen or resolve the problem.
Additionally, they had hidden extra charges that weren't mentioned during check-in, which added to the frustration when I was checking out. The lack of transparency and poor customer service made my stay unpleasant.
I would advise potential guests to be cautious and thoroughly review their bill before checking out. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend hotel royal grand due to their overcharging and rude staff.
