food was ok
Staffs did not pay attention on clealiness. Room and bathroom were infested with cockriaches and insects. Sometimes they approached on beds and ceilings. Pillow was thick and uncomfortable. When asked for a thin pillow no one responded. So this time stay was not worth the amount I paid.
I also did not like a little black dog roaming in the restaurant and the lobby. In fact it should not be likely to exist such scenes. I have to think twice to be there for the second time at the dame condition. I will have no problem to stay at this hotel again if problems are fixed. Cockroaches .... oh my god
My room with a king bed was spacious. The air conditioner was a must because it reached 107 degrees Fahrenheit (42 Celsius) in April. The TV in room could be used for some limited streaming services. Bottled water, kettle, instant coffee, tea, and bathroom essentials provided. The hotel restaurant had a varied menu and was good, as was the breakfast buffet that could be added on for $5 per day. The staff was kind and helpful. Given the other choices around Lumbini, I think this is the best hotel for the money.
The hotel, although nice, was noisy from other guests. The location of the hotel was good but no grounds around it, not a very appealing setting, dusty and barren. There were frequent very short power outages. The jetted bathtub in my room was a waste as it took a very long time to fill up, and there was not adequate hot, or warm, water to fill it. I found Lumbini to be interesting but a big disappointment as the park was not well maintained, visitor centers were not open or staffed, there were what looked like abandoned areas, lots of construction, stray dogs and begging kids and adults harassed me, overgrown vegetation and weeds everywhere, and many temples not open at all, others not open during the hours posted on information boards. There were places in this park that would make for a great movie set for a horror or zombie film as it often felt like a post-apocalyptic dystopia walking around it.
Great location, clean rooms
Even after 4 days my trash wasn’t taken out and the cleaning staff hadn’t stepped foot in my room. The food was not good and far too expensive. It was still a nice hotel overall, but for what I was paying, it was a complete scam. The service could have been far better for what I paid.
Nice large apartment with 2 bathrooms and balcony overlooking fields. There is also a souvenir shop downstairs, and restaurant. Very good location close to the Maya Devi temple complex.
Card machine wasn’t working so had to pay in cash. AC was not very powerful, but as we only stayed one night we didn’t mention it to staff.
A very serviceable hotel with large rooms twenty minutes walk from the Maya Devi. Nice views over the rice paddies and very quiet. Serves lots of tour groups. Rooms are very large and have a refrigerator. Strangely, our room had a jacuzzi tub yet still had an open floor shower. Lots of hot water and good food.
Our jacuzzi tub leaked water everywhere and apparently did not work. But the shower was good even though it soaked the whole bathroom floor.
It was a good place with necesseties provided. Cleanliness was maintained.
Personal touch was missing.
Everything was fine. Staff friendly but young and not very experienced. Room was big and everything worked. Food was also good.
One of the best properties to stay in Lumbini. Excellent restaurant, again one of the best in Lumbini. We did not find a better restaurant than it for fine dining. Rooms are spacious, clean and luxurious. The hotel was better than the reviews and their card machine works. Which means they have acted on past reviews.
Nothing much. We gave them clothes for laundry, but they were returned folded but half-wet due to the cold in Winter. It means they do not have a tumble dryer.
Is very clean, big room. Is only walking distance to sacred site. Staff are helpful.
Nothing
Very quiet and nice
Nothing
Clean, quiet, spacious rooms and hot water
Everything was great
Good location between the Unesco site where temples are and the main town market area.
Front desk manager was very helpful and professional.
The restaurant team did their best sometimes I think they were short staffed which may have been reason for delays as mentioned below.
Service in restaurant was sometimes very slow.
We resolved this by pre ordering our meals in advance
The room and service is great. I was very comfortable here both with the suite itself and the staff.
The room had a view of the beautiful paddi fields. The windows were extremely large which could be opened wide. The rooms were very spacious
The buffet breakfast could have had a bit more variety. But I guess since the capacity is not that much they may not cater. But they had a great menu which you could order out of anyway
